"Not my cup of tea"
I tried this short story as a listening experiment. I have to say the short story did not catch my interest. There was too little meat in it for me. Now, a short story enthusiast might be very happy with it. I found the listen easy to understand and there was a curve. I personally will pass on these types of stories from now on preferring a full novels. I don’t want to take anything away from Agatha Chrisite, I am just not a fan of this format.

"Always a classic winner"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?I would definitely recommend this short story, it is quirky, well narrated, and unexpected.
Who was your favorite character and why?Mr. Spatherthwaite, of course. He is such a profound soul.
What about Hugh Fraser’s performance did you like?He narrates each character with such perfection, he gives them a distinct personality, he is excellent.
If you could take any character from The Love Detectives out to dinner, who would it be and why?Harley Quinn, he is so suave and charming.
