Norman Corwin in his own words!
Known as the "Poet Laureate of Radio", Norman Corwin was perhaps the greatest writer-producer-director the Golden Age of Radio ever produced, winning two Peabody Medals for his radio works.
On December 28, 2004, radio legend Norman Corwin sat for an in-depth interview with filmmaker Michael James Kacey. Topics included his entry into broadcasting; his CBS years; writing and directing the first ever four-network broadcast, We Hold These Truths; his wartime trip to Britain; the One World Award; and of course, his towering radio masterpiece On a Note of Triumph.
Mr. Corwin requested that this interview be made available to the general public. This is the audio version of the published text of this interview.
