Love is in the air - but what does that mean for Greg Heffley? A Valentine's Day dance at Greg's middle school has turned his world upside down. As Greg scrambles to find a date, he's worried he'll be left out in the cold on the big night. His best friend, Rowley, doesn't have any prospects either, but that's a small consolation. An unexpected twist gives Greg a partner for the dance and leaves Rowley the odd man out. But a lot can happen in one night, and in the end, you never know who's going to be lucky in love.

"Kids loved it!"
Greg Heffley vividly describes life before birth! Hilarious!
Loved hearing the words on the printed page come to life.
It is wonderful to follow along using the printed copy of the book. My young readers learn the fun of reading with great expression!
"Very cute book"
The smile on my sons face
When Gregs mom was reading to him at night..and he was given a pop quiz
When Greg was a baby doing flips with his ambilical cord still attached
DONT BE A THIRD WHEEL....
"Great listen for all ages!"
This is a great series for all ages. If you are looking for a well read, funny adventure, you can't do better than to listen to the adventures of Greg and his friends!
"cool"
yes because it is funny and weird
when greg saw ruby bird at the dance
yes
it made me laugh
"Its okay."
yes. The kids enjoyed it.
The reader sounded to old which made it hard for the kids to listen to it at first. Ramon is not a bad reader, just not right for this book. He made them prefer the written version.
Yes the kids like characters they can identify with.
"Download didn't work"
Download didn't open. When I tried to download on a different computer it wouldn't allow me to download again. Wasted 10 bucks.
"Didn't download"
Wasted my credit on this and it was the first time a bought a book from here, wasted the only book i could download this month on a book that didn't even download.
"NOT what I thought..."
This "book" was purchased for my 11 years old son who absolutely loves to read. I TRIED to purchase the Kindle BOOK, but due to technical difficulties (quality control issues) I was left with only the option of purchasing the Audible version. This was my first time purchasing an Audible, so I did not know what to expect. What I THOUGHT we would get was the Audible version in addition to the normal "printed" version. This was NOT the case. Not realizing that it was not included with the Audible version, we fumbled around trying to find the "printed" version. After our fruitless efforts paid no reward, my son was left with but one option, that of LISTENING to his new "book." Yes, he was VERY disappointed!
As for the book, my son loved it! He has READ and enjoyed all of the other books in this series. As an extra note, while we were in Walmart yesterday, my son found a copy of this same book and inquired of me if he might purchase it. When I reminded him that he had the Audible version, he stated, "Yes, I know. But I like to actually READ the book and look a the pictures." To me, this spoke volumes!
Audible is an excellent format and, I'm sure, fills a very necessary void for those who may be significantly visually impaired, making reading more of a frustration than an enjoyment. Had I realized that it did not include the printed version, I would not have made this purchase.
