Then, Pulitzer Prize winner Tina Kelley and Covenant House President Kevin Ryan partnered to share the stories of six young people who became homeless. “Creionna” is one of those, a teen mother and Katrina refugee who left home when her son was six weeks old to protect him from her damaging family. They will discuss how to overcome the violence and neglect, as told in their new book, “Almost Home: Helping Kids Move from Homelessness to Hope.” [Broadcast Date: November 20, 2012]
