Recorded at the Skirball Theater in New York City, John Mulaney: New in Town shines a spotlight on the thoughts and feelings of writer (Saturday Night Live) and stand-up comedian John Mulaney, a pleasant, nearly 30-year-old man who enjoys making fun of himself and others. Mulaney tackles such red-hot topics as french fries, Law & Order, and his bygone partying days. Through his stories, listeners will follow as Mulaney ages from a nervous and dishonest child to a still nervous and dishonest adult.

"My Sides Hurt!"
Hell yes! He was flawless and if he isn't already one of the best comics in the country he should be. I'm sure people will see true talent and go out and see this gentleman!
His story that the CD is named after. Won't give any of it anyway but it will stick with you.
Same one that involves the title, the way he describes it and sets the scene, is perfect. He's someone to take notes on.
Laugh and very hard and very often.
Check out his other stand up, called the Top Part. Another great recording.
"Hilarious!"
Yes, I would. This stand-up was very funny. It was a quick and easy listen.
The best part was the doctor visit that John describes at the end. I was cracking up.
This was stand-up comedy, so there weren’t really any characters, but the comedian’s delivery was great. He did funny voices and really carried the audience through the situations that he described.
I laughed through the majority of this stand up album. It was a great pick-me-up.
This was my first experience listening to stand up from Audible. Sometimes I get distracted during books and have to go back and re-listen to parts. However, this stand-up album was very easy to listen to and didn’t distract me from work. It was a very funny addition to my work day!
