If you love Jeff Dunham, you will love this book. I'm sure it would have been fun to read, but I've no doubt it was made even that more enjoyable by having Jeff and his dummies narrate. From my point of view, Jeff just popped up one day on my entertainment radar. Little did I know the passion, focus, and shear determination it takes for someone to reach the skill and widespread popularity he has attained. There was never a moment I was not riveted by the fluid narration and fascinating stories of his journey to stardom; I was on pins and needles as he described his first appearance on the Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson, a goal he had strived to attain for 10 years. His book runs up and through his unfortunately short-lived television show in 2009. Thank you, Jeff for sharing your story.

This is an enjoyable novel about Jeff's life & all the interesting happenings during it. The novel also takes you through the creation of his "little guys". Since it is red bu Jeff he deffently adds his personal touch & of course the guys add their two cents each along the way. This book is a good listen for the whole family.

I rarely write reviews but I couldn't stay silent about this audiobook. I have seen Jeff Dunham DVDs before and my family loves his humor. I was interested in how he got his start and how he developed his characters and I had one audible credit left so I spent it on this selection. WOW! Jeff narrated it with his little friends, so it was very entertaining as well as informative. He started young and consistently practiced his craft wherever he could. Imagine...he became an "overnight" success after decades of consistent hard work, practice and putting himself out there. Great lesson for us all. His parents are my heros, too, and they are an example of how to encourage, support, and nurture an interest in a child (even if the interest may not lead to a career). Great listen!!

Loved the book! It was fun to hear how Jeff started out and how he progressed to where he and the guys in the suitcase are today.

I really like learning about his experiences. I've enjoyed him since college and like hearing his story.

I really needed a comedic lift at the time I bought the book - especially one without politics or meanness, of which there seem to be an inordinate amount. I laughed several times through the book - I kill you!

Worth it. Every cent.

Yes, there are certainly funny moments when you would least expect them. The voices of the "dummies" make you feel like you are listening to a group of very unique people tell the story of not only Jeff's evolution but theirs as well.

Walter is awesome, and it is true you almost forget he is conveying thoughts that Jeff himself has. He can get away with a lot!

There are snipets of stories within the book that seem unfinished or unnecessary. Overall funny, light, and interesting listen. I admire his passion greatly.

Loved listening to this book. Full of enthusiasm and humor. You can tell that Jeff loves his work.

Ordered this book on a whim before starting out on a 5 hour drive. Kept me in stitches and the made the drive seem like a drive to the market rather than a cross-state trek.

I keeeel you!! If you've seen/heard Achmed, you'll know what I mean. If not, buy the book and enjoy!

I loved the fact that Jeff Dunham portrayed all of his characters in the book and argued with himself too.

I was moved by Jeff's chapter about his divorce and his tribute to his daughters. It was very touching.
