Publisher's Summary

Here's some good news for everyone who's ever been bullied into believing they can't speak their own language: The grammar snobs are bluffing. Half the "rules" they use to humiliate others are really just judgment calls and the rest they don't even understand themselves. Grammar Snobs Are Great Big Meanies is a laugh-out-loud funny collection of anecdotes and essays on grammar and punctuation, as well as hilarious critiques of the self-appointed language experts.

In this collection of hilarious anecdotes and essays, June Casagrande delivers practical language lessons not found anywhere else, demystifying the subject and taking it back from the snobs.

    "One of the Best"

I've been a member a long time and have listened to a lot of audio books. This one had become one of my favorites. It's both entertaining and educational. I highly recommend this to someone interested in learning all the strange ins and outs of the English language. I wouldn't recommend this for ESL unless you are near native level.
    Enjoy!

    "Boring"
What disappointed you about Grammar Snobs Are Great Big Meanies?

This was like sitting in my seventh grade english class. We memorized 52 prepositions and learned how to conjugate verbs in 23 tenses. Sr Ann Veronica was more interesting than this book. I couldn't make it through the whole thing, even though I try to see every book to the end no matter how weak it is. It was awful

What could June Casagrande have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

I don't think this book could be fixed

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Her narration didn't make any difference to the content.

    Any additional comments?

    Very disappointing
