"Zig Ziglar is Positive and Inspiring"
I really like Zig Ziglar’s message, I find it positive and inspiring.
This audiobook is a part of a larger series, but here is the rub, Audible does not make it clear what books make-up the entire series and what order they should be read in. So listening to just this book makes me feel incomplete, like there is something important missing, like I don’t have the entire story.
Although I feel unsatisfied with this book, I did enjoy listening to it and will probably get another book or two that will hopefully be a part of the series, maybe someday I will actually get the entire message.
"Awesome!!"
I first listened to Zig back in 1982. He was the first one to get me started on the audio books path. This is an awesome program filled with some great motivational material. I would recommend it highly for anyone.
"Truly Timeless and Inspiring"
"How to Stay Motivated: The Goals Program (Unabridged)" is truly timeless and inspiring. I never get tired of hearing Zig Ziglar tell his stories and am motivated each time.
"Good to listen to"
Fast paced, engaging, gets you pumped up and excited to tackle your life and be a better person
"Zig at his best!!"
I absolutely love Zig. I believe he was the absolute best motivational speaker of our generation and listen to him all the time. The message is timeless, the stories are meaningful and the humor is very good. You don't have to agree with everything Zig stands for, but if you have an open mind he will give you some great tools and inspiration for life. His delivery in the live recordings is dynamic and entertaining and keep my attention over and over.
"Heavy on Story"
Not read the print version but without Zigs trademark voice, I cant believe it can match this recording.
Typical trademark Zig (now passed may he rest in peace and thanks for leaving this legacy).
Very solid and surprisingly direct. Zig gets his message across with a number of stories. Setting goals is made practical here with how to make sure you stretch but still achieve.
Ice cream sticks to Zig - who knew?
"I'm sold!"
Take Four. It's about the same Goals Program, Take Four being more concrete and short (much, much shorter), and How to Stay Motivated being an excellent speech about it, with all the motivational pump, success stories, tips, answers and metaphors
I'm sold on setting goals. This speech convinced me that it's absolutely important to have a Goals Program and I have absolutely no reason not to have one

"Classic Zig Ziglar"
Zig Ziglar is one of the all-time best motivational speakers because of his dynamic personality and his deep rooted values.
This particular audiobook is a great example of Zig in action. He doesn't focus on complicated "Get it Done" strategies or systems. Instead, he simply uses common sense ideas and he illustrates them with captivating stories and his one-of-a-kind delivery.
He reminds us to that the first step in getting things done is setting specific goals and for those who have a hard time doing that, perhaps your first goal is to give him a listen. Once you do, you'll want to explore some of his other books, such as "See You at the Top".
"great listening"
Lots of practical , simple positive motivational
themes.
"It's a little outdated"
Zig has great analogies but he loses me with his politcal and religious agendas.
Lose the political/religious angle and focus on motivation.
