"An imaginative story like no other..."
Spending your time out in your room without dinner...a perfect time to slip off and rule the monster world. My children and I love this book so much. We have read it a hundred times. The audiobook is a joy to listen to and my kids got lost in the reader's voices. We highly recommend this audiobook for your children ages 2-92!
"Fun for kids and parents"
This is always FUN to read to your kids. But if YOU'VE never heard it read before, I strongly recommend that you download this and listen to the narration. Both you and your child will love it, and it will inspire your reading in the years to come.
"Audible app buttons in the way"
I haven't seen these before, you know, the picture books on audible that have picture changes corresponding to the story as you listen to it. It's a shame that the current version of the iphone app has giant buttons blocking the view of the pictures. Why no hide option? For this reason, this and any picture book on audible becomes a bit of a waste of money for such a short audio clip and minimal visual experience. Fix the problem and the experience would be much improved.
"Most requested at our house!"
Other than the story the music is perfect my 2 year old twins yell monster music everytime we play it the narrator did a great job too!
He has a gravelly voice that fit this story so well!
We'll eat you up we love you so!
This version has the pictures but I found that my boys like it better just listening.
"Narrated Picture Book!"
This is exactly what I was looking for from Audible: a narrated picture book. I have a kindle fire and I want the kids to see the original pictures and listen to a great story teller.
Where are the other ones like this?! I don't even see anything in the description that indicates that the pictures change as the story plays... If anyone knows, please help!
"Really Great !!"
It was short, and had excellent character voices and sound effects.
the beast of course!
He's one of the best male narrators for children's books I've run across.
Sure. I could handle all 6 minutes!!!

"Exceeded Expectations"
I don't know what I was expecting, I just bought it because it's a familiar story for my kids (3 and 5) but the performance and background music make this one of our favorites!
The rolling of eyes and knashing of teeth of course!
An avid reader, who also loves to listen.
"Great for kids"
A fun listen that's great for the children!
