"Perfect for a Twenty-Something"
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?More character development was needed for this storyline to really "fly". The protagonists attention spans and the plot was flighty. Even the scenes where danger was imminent, there were on-going sexual innuendos and jokes.

"Funny Story?"
I bought this recording hoping to get a decent paranormal adventure story. What I ended up with was a parody of Indiana Jones with heavy sexual overtones. The only thing missing was a walk on by the Keystone Cops. (Look it up Kids)! Needless to say I was disappointed with the entire book. Raudman did a fair job with the narration but she tends to get a bit melodramatic at times. It's hard to appreciate the drama when your laughing.

"Good story a little slow in places."
What did you love best about Guardians of Stone?This is a fascinating story that has interesting historical pieces.
Did the narration match the pace of the story?I think the narrator of this story does a good job of keeping the story interesting and does a decent job with the voices.
Any additional comments?This book is a good listen for when you are at the gym. It's not a book I had to listen too but looked forward to it when I was at the gym. It's a little draggy in places and then skips over some more interesting parts at the end...like the book just needed to get wrapped up. I'd buy it again.
