"From a native Utahn, it is funny!!"
The author takes you through many quirks of the Utah culture.
The hypocrisy of religion and it's followers.
Yes, Listen to Jitters first, I believe their are some of the same.
Moon McKenna, her independence and NAVAL, Utah, the twist on a real town.
Looking forward to the next adventure.
"Yikes! Great fun."
Absolutely. It was a lot of fun.
I'm not sure. I got so enveloped in the story. I just enjoyed listening to it.
The story is acted by many voice actors. Each character had its own voice. I really liked that about this audio book.
I think the title tells all.
I also listened to Adele's other audio book Jitters. I enjoyed them both.

Adele Parks has outdone herself with ‘Yikes’ Another Quirky Audio Book.
I was first introduced to Ms. Parks audio book ‘Jitters’ and knew she had a special talent that takes the listener deep into the story, actually transitioning them within the story, as they become as much a part of the town as the characters. This, my friends, is a very difficult task to master, yet Adele has the gift.
When listening to ‘Yikes’, I was truly amazed that, once again, I found myself laughing out loud, worrying about the characters fate, getting angry over an act or deed performed and mostly, enjoying every single minute. Who else but Adele Parks could interject marijuana, Reality TV, homosexuality, love affairs, death and sibling rivalry in such a way it intertwined perfectly and harmoniously into a delightful, refreshing and very funny story. Her ‘play on words’ is not obvious yet it adds an underlying synchronization which inserts a touch of magic to each chapter.
I laugh just thinking about the characters, their idiosyncrasies and personalities. This reviewer hosts the It Matters live internet radio broadcast and has read hundreds of books from guest authors. This quirky little audio book stands out from the rest, not because other books are not of high quality and substance, but because it is so uniquely different. You’ll feel as if you are within a theater or stage production from the start to the end of this hilarious wild ride through the town of Naval, Utah.
Can’t wait to see what author Adele Park comes up with next.
