A woman’s sexual obsession will be her downfall—or her liberation.
For successful African American businesswoman Zoe Reynard, finding the pleasure she wants, the way she wants it, is not worth the risk of losing everything she has: marriage to the man she has loved since childhood, a thriving company, three wonderful children. But Zoe feels helpless in the grip of an overpowering addiction—to sex.
Finding a compassionate woman therapist to help her, Zoe finally summons the courage to tell her torrid story, a tale of guilt and desire as shocking as it is compelling. From the sensitive artist with whom she spends stolen hours on rumpled sheets to the rough and violent man who draws her toward destruction, Zoe is a woman desperately searching for fulfillment—and something darker, deeper, and perhaps deadly. As her life spins out of control and her sexual escapades carry her toward a dangerous choice, Zoe is racing against time to uncover the source of her “fatal attraction.” Chilling secrets tumble forth from the recesses of a woman’s mind, and perilous temptations lead toward a climax that can threaten her sanity, her marriage—and her life.

“Snatched me up from the first page and didn’t let me go until the end. A great read!” (Margaret Johnson-Hodge, best-selling author of Butterscotch Blues)

"Loved It..."
This book kept my attention the entire time. Which is always a plus! Certain parts you could tell what was about to happen but overall it was worth my credit.
"Loved It!!"
Would definitely recommend to a friend that loves great story lines with plot twists that keep you guessing.
All of the characters were thoroughly defined and were in keeping with the story.
All of the villains.
Passion Play... but Addicted is far more appealing.
Excellent story.
"What a great book"

"Great story!!!!"
Great story with a good twist!!!! You would never guess!!!!I love her books...she leaves you with a WOW feeling at the end!!
"Could have been better but NOT a TOTAL disappoint!"
This was a decent story BUT far too much time was spent on the past and not the present and future. I enjoyed the narrator's voice. It kept me interested. Overall, a good (listen).

"Raunchy and not worth the money."
Leave out all the unnecessary detail and expand upon the things that matter. I know what comes out of someone's nose when they blow it, but I didn't need to be reminded that someone blew mucus from their nose.
The main character's ignorance and obvious lack of emotional intelligence.
No.
The only redeeming quality didn't come out towards the end when the author finally shed some light on the sexual problems of the husband and his past.
I don't recommend this book to anyone.
"Makes a good first listener."
This book was not just your typical drama where you can guess the whole story line. It had twist and surprises. I think it makes a good first listener book. Especially if you enjoy a good lifetime movie and trying to get into reading. There was enough going on to make you want to keep listening. The narration of the book was very believable. It is a book for a mature listening audience. It central truth is how one decision can change your whole life.
