      Story
"Good, but the sighs. . ."
Would you listen to Michel Thomas Method again? Why?

I speak German, but my husband wants to learn the basics so I bought this for him. The Michel Thomas Method is a great way to pick up the basics of language structure along with a handful of vocabulary.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

The instructor on this one had to spend too much time teaching the students to pronounce the words ich, mich & nicht. The male student's sighs and huffs distracted from the lesson.

      Any additional comments?

The only problem I've noticed is that this teaches only the formal address (Sie) and not the informal (du), at least in the introductory course. However, I understand that the format used actually simplifies the language and makes it easier to learn.
