Just Dare Me

This is a story of an office romance between Dell and Gabby, two marketing account managers that want the same big sporting company account. They find themselves competing in a wilderness survival challenge in order to determine who will get the account. Though Dell clearly has the advantage to win, the author of this book does a great job of using Dell's brawn, Gabby's smarts and dumb luck circumstances to help even out the competition. In fact, this author goes to great length to be unpredictable - even before the competition begins. It really made the story most interesting, and kept me listening well past bedtime. Dell & Gabby made a great couple (with some serious passion and heat being exchanged between these two), and the secondary characters were also interesting and added to mayhem and fun. This is my first book by this author, and I will search out more. Overall, it was a light, funny, sexy and unpredictable book. The naration was really good too! For a HQN Blaze book, I was impressed.

I read this book the first time around and when I saw it available in audible--had to listen to it! It's fun, full of surprises and makes the underdog vs. champion relationship between Dell and Gabby so believable, sexy and full of charge. I can't wait to find more books by this author.

Narrator's whiny, high pitched, sharp voice not at all suited to romance novels. She makes seduction scenes sound like Disney cartoon characters discussing kindergarten sandbox maneuvers.

This was light but fun. It is an enjoyable story of changing your life by using your brains and preparedness! Enjoyable!

A servicable romance in most respects but it's a little skimpy on the passionate payoff at the end. But fun.

I really liked this story. Gabbie will have you laughing out loud. This is a short story so things move along pretty quickly but it does not detract from the romance between Gabbie and Del. It's simply a very good story with the right amount of spice. I will be looking for more from this author. I already like the narrator who does a good job with this one too.

I enjoyed this story for it's adventure. Not super thrilled with the main guy character, he was kinda a jerk. But worth the price.

Her nasal voice made the male lead sound like a little boy with a cold. Gave all the charaters a nasal sounding voice. Loved the story.

This was a cute book. It is predictable, but worth the low cost. It was a good book overall.

This book was funny and actually made me laugh out loud at times. I enjoyed having a short read for once. I usually listen to books that average 14 hours. This was light and delightful.
