The Magic of Thinking Big gives you useful methods, not empty promises. Dr. Schwartz presents a carefully designed program for getting the most out of your job, your marriage and family life, and your community. He proves that you don't need to be an intellectual or have innate talent to attain great success and satisfaction - but you do need to learn and understand the habit of thinking and behaving in ways that will get you there.

"There is allot here"
This is a very concise book on thinking beyond your immediate circumstance and taking a different perspective. The author encourages you to get beyond reacting to others and setting your own course in life. I found the book very helpful but needed to listen to it twice as it gets right to the point.
"Life-changing literature."
I loved the audio version so much, I immediately went out and bought the unabridged book. You can have a life changing experience if you truly take what Dr. Schwartz says to heart (listen and apply).
Topics covered are:
~How to develop the power of belief
~Steps to build confidence and destroy fear
~How to think and dream creatively
~Ways to harness and develop your ideas
~Managing your environment
~Improving relationships with people
~Turning defeat into victory
~Using goals to help you grow
~How to think like a Leader
...and much, much more.
If I could only recommend one book to you, this would be it. What do you have to lose? Is the risk of wasting $8.95 more important than possibly finding success and happiness for the rest of your life?
"Simple Learning"
The content of this book is written in a very simple format which is great for negaholics that are trying to make a real change in their lives. For those who follow Covey and Frankl, this book confirms many if not all of their teachings
"A Big Winner"
I listen to a lot of motivational audio books and read some as well. Often times they are hit or miss. This book was just GREAT! I loved it and learned a lot from it. It gives great examples that you can actually relate to.
"This a great book"
I loved this book and every so often go back and listen to it again as there is so much inspiration in it. Yeah, I know some people say it's just a load of self-improvement mantras rehashed into a new pot, but I love the way it's presented, the change in voices, the changes in tempo and you can't help smiling once you've been listening to it. My only minor niggle is the 'plastic' music used to divide the sections - but I'll forgive this for the feel-good factor.
"a true rendition"
I enjoy reading this book about once every year or two. This time I listened to it and found it just as informative.
"Great book"
This book is very motivational and has good ideas. I don't know that the techniques were cutting edge, but are still very practical and enduring. I actually listened to the book twice.
"Powerful!"
This is one of the most powerful books I have ever read (listened to). Once I finished it, I turned right around and am listening to it a second time. I've considered myself a positive person, but this book has shown me some "stinkin' thinkin'" that I need to work on!
"A classic"
Read the book over 10 years ago (and many times since), then got the audio. Simple & Easy to follow. This book is a classic. I only wish it were unabrigded.
"A kick in the rear"
I listen to a lot of self help books (believe me I need it) and I found this one to be one of the best. The multiple narrators and scenes gave the book a liveliness I haven't encountered before. The tips were practical and easily applicable to daily life. The sheer positive ness of this book makes you want to jump start your life. It’s a good one!
