"Interesting perspective"
I wasn't sure if I liked this at first. The writing is very direct and simple which isn't bad but sometimes felt a little flat. However, I did enjoy being inside her head. She can be a bit repetitive but hearing her talk about her faith gave me a different perspective into her Catholic prayer life and her relationship with God. Basically this book is following her prayers throughout her journey. It's rare to get to hear a person's perspective on their relationship with God that just presents itself as it is instead of preaching it to you.

"One of the most inspiring books I've ever read!!!"
What did you love best about Led by Faith?Immaculee's story is both heart-wrenching & inspiring. I'm so glad she read it herself. It helps you to feel like you were on the journey with her. She has inspired me to nurture my relationship with God & to live a life of gratitude & meaning.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?Yes! I didn't want to stop listening! And when I had to, I couldn't wait to get back to it. I actually listened to it twice in less than a month...and now I'm listening to it for a third time.

"A marvelous factual heartrending story"
This story is an eyeopener to the facts of the genocide in Rwanda by one who was in the middle of it and was very close to being discovered and brutally murdered herself. Her ability to have genuinely forgiven all the killers, especially the man who killed some of her family, is amazing and powerful. This audiobook is very professionally narrated by Lisa Renee Pitts.

"Left to Tell is a hard act to follow."
I really liked Led by Faith and I am so grateful for the follow up story. It wasn't quite the Five stars that "Left to Tell" would get. I would almost recommend listening to this one first and then getting the original story. I actually bought Led by Faith before getting Left to Tell. It is a more peaceful, less on the edge of your seat story.
