"Ms Banks - you naughty naughty woman !!"
Okay, Okay I'll be the first to admit to listening to this, but in my defence Maya Banks is an auto download as I'm no prude and usually love love love her hot romance novels.
However, this one seemed to be very strong on the sexual acts done by the Prince and his 3 best friends and quite low on story which was - exiled and demanding Prince plus 3 exiled to desert island entice innocent, and all too trusting Talia, to come visit. Fun and games soon follow as she is quite happy to 'entertain' all 4 men at once for 6 months as a bargain for her Mother's hospital treatment.
Yes it was a bit of a love story as none of them could do without each other but I felt the storyline was a bit implausible and just an excuse to write some very hot scenes then rushed at the end.
Worth a credit? No, because it's only $6.36 but you're gonna love it if you're into eRotica.
"PREDICTABLE"
People who like trash novels. I am not saying that in a negative way, but the book didn't seem to have a plot or purpose to me.
No. Because I hae read several books in this genre, I am not turned off. I also have read and enjoyed other books by Nora Roberts, this one was not one of them.
It was good for creating pictures in your mind about what was going on with the protagonist.
The end with everything coming out all rosy.
I've always been a avid reader so now I'm a avid listener. I prefer the paranormal genre but I do like to switch things up. It's boring if you don't have variety. Of course I do love the romance and the hotter the better. Also, you can't beat a good thriller filled with suspense and a ending you can't even guess at until the very end.
"HOT Fantasy!!"
Let's face it, four sexy men in love with one woman and they share her with each other with no problems. Yes it is not a very believable scenario, but I did enjoy the fantasy.
I loved it. I am very happy to use my credit for it but it was on sale and I was happy to just buy it. Be warned it contains explict sexual situations, so if you don't like that then this book wouldn't be for you.

"Maybe it was just me..."
Exiled is one of those titles that may have come off better in print than in audio. It is an erotica title, which is coming to mean mostly erotica with a dash of plot. If you go into the book with that attitude, you won't be disappointed.
Spoiler: The plot goes something like this. Girl catches attention of Prince, who is a hedonist. Girl has sick mom and no means. Prince sweeps in and pays for everything, including girls education and mom's healthcare telling girl to come to him when called. Girl gets called by Prince to come to remote island paradise where she is cherished and adored by Prince and his four best men. Slight hiccup in bliss, Prince fixes everything. HEA.
As I said above, if I had looked at the title as erotica only, I might not have been disappointed. I have become used to Maya Banks having really good story lines so maybe it was the input of the secondary author that made this title lacking. Also, I absolutely can't stand breathy porn star narration and this narrator gives it in spades. It's cheap, cheesy and destroys any hope of the book being anything other than trashy. Had the narrator not sounded as though she was using this as an interview for a sex line, it might have been a bit better.
If you're going to buy it, get it while it's cheap and on sale. DO NOT WASTE A CREDIT!
"So cheesy"
This was so cheesy it was painful. I couldn't get over how boring and cheesy this was. Don't waste your time. There is other good romances and erotica out there, and this is not it.
"LOVE ALL MAYA'S BOOKS"
I love Audio Books. I love to read, but I just don't get the time to read. This is a great way to hear the books.
Voices. Hearing a story is great. I creates a movie in my head.
"Better Narrator Needed"
This book is yet another example of how a potentially good book can go bad with the wrong narrator. Venessa Caine voice sounded strained and that made this audio book hard to enjoy. I also had a hard time placing the time period in which the story took place in, was it in todays modern times or a century ago.
This book could have been much more enjoyable if the narrator spoke with more passion and the character voices did not sound so muffled and restrained.
There was also a noticeable difference in writing style here compared to other Maya Banks books. I found the story line scattered and the ending rushed.
