they brought more emotion during the story, it is a nice experience to listen to a book. I think it might be nice to do it when driving alone, or walking. I enjoyed it!

Karen Kingsbury is a great author, anything from her is beautiful and touching!

This book sort of reviews some books I read of Kingsbury's in the past. That was a little slow but there is new action as well that's very intriguing. It was hard to stop listening. Her books are always full of hope and the idea of endless support by family and God.

I don't think anyone would enjoy this that has not read the previous books in this series. It was a very touching story and one that was deserving of the quality of these characters and an artful way to end the series. One of her better books and I have read all of her books.

The story took over and I really did not have an opinion either way on the narrator I was so caught up in the story.

Audible versions of Karen Kingsbury come to life so much more for me than the actual read.

If you are a tru KK fan you will not be disappointed.

I didn't realize that this was part of a Christian book series. It is nice and all, and inspirational and family friendly and whatnot, but I just wasn't expecting the content to be what it was. I was thinking it would be more like a Jodi Picoult tearjerker, not a God-give-me-a-sign story, so perhaps if I knew that, I would have been a bit more into it.

No, it wasn't very pleasant havingt to lister to the highlights of the previous 5 books in the series and didn't like reading about death and how every one coped. Wasn't what I expected.

Yes, because I just adore everything Kingsbury! I've listen to all her books that I have at least 3-4 times each.

Yes...the Take One - Four books. They make it easy to listen. I think when the reader changes it's nicer when there is enough readers for each main charactre, or whoever the particular part of the book is referring to in the moment.

Yes but to mention would be a spoiler. Through tragedy it seems the family is stronger and learns to lean and trust more.

It seems to me that Karen leaves herself open for another Baxter series in the future even though this was suppose to be a review of the past and an end to the Baxter Saga.

Death Brings Life

The entire storyline touch me as I am a recipiant of a families loss which gave me a new lease on life. This book, I believe adiquitly touches on the feelings of a family who suffers great loss, but through their faith in God can continue to live, knowing that they have given new life and meaning to so many other people through organ donation. It also gives readers a very good perspective on how those of us who receive the organs from a family's loved one feel. There are no words to describe the thankfulness, joy & yet sorrow we as recipiants feel for the families whose loved ones had to die to give us new life. It reminds me everyday of the sacrifice that Christ made for us and Karen Kingsbury had brought her faith in God more alive and poiniannt in this book dealing with life, death and new life more than in any of her other books.

The expressions that both readers show in this book are amazing. They made me feel as if I were part of the scenes they were reading. I could feel the struggle the family was going through when choosing to donate the organs of Klorisa, yet know it was the right thing to do. I felt the joy as the family heard how the organs would help others and both readers just made the book come alive for me. They are both awsome readers.

That is such a difficult question to answer because the majority of them were very special to me, but I would probably have to say either Ashley or Dane. These two showed amazing strength even in their pain, yet were always supporting those around them.

The only thing I could say is the Baxter family books can't end here, we need to hear of the children & grand children as they continue to grow. This review was written by my wife who also enjoyed the book.

The narrators performed decently, but it would have been nice if the male and female could have read the roles of the characters in the proper voices since they both participated in the story. The print edition is nice if you choose to skim through a few of the earlier chapters. Even though they provide updated information, the reader can skim through some of the reviews if you've read the former Baxter novels. It's a little easier to glance through printed pages.

My Most memorable moment was the unexpected details as I reached the middle of the book. I'll confess many tears were shed throughout this novel.

I love Gabrielle's dramatic presentation of the villain character and Stefan's serious tone in the chapter explaining the details involving the truck driver.

Sorting through memories and moving ahead

I hope Karen Kingsbury decides to write another Baxter book. She claims this is the final chapter, but I can imagine future novels. I'm glad no one walked in the room when I had tears in my eyes. If you love the Baxters, you'll love this book.

It was good to be back with the Baxter clan.

This was a very good book, the intent being to do a final story on the Baxter family and their friends. The book did do that, but in a way I wish I had not read it. Spoiler: I didn't like what happened to one of the families - it was so sad. I realize tragedy hits everybody but I hate to see it in books, especially this set. I cried through the entire book.
