Evelyn Lozada, the breakout star of VH1’s hit reality show Basketball Wives, brings you her first novel in the hot new series the Wives Association. Inner Circle is a jaw-dropping peek into the lives of a group of women married to professional athletes. It will be impossible to determine where real life ends and fiction begins in this gripping novel. Inner Circle depicts the life of Evelyn Lozada’s off-camera alter ego, Eve Inez. Much like The Basketball Wives, Inner Circle reveals everything athletes’ wives live through, complete with the cheating, scandal, manipulation, and gossip. And this time, nothing is being held back.
None of the wives are prepared for how addictive their rich lifestyles can be, and they find themselves stooping to unimaginable levels of deception to preserve their social status. Eve encourages the wives to band together and becomes the mastermind behind the drastic measures these women take to maintain their celebrity - until she herself comes face to face with a reality that shakes her to the core. The riveting ending will leave listeners dying for more.
Evelyn Lozada was born in Brooklyn and always aspired to break out of her relatively small world. She now lives in Miami, co-owns Dulce, an upscale shoe boutique, and is engaged to New England Patriots wide receiver Chad Ochocinco. She takes great pride in being a devoted mother and businesswoman.

LIFE just happens that way sometimes!
"Surprised but delightful"
I am simply amazed that these reality stars are able to put together such a good story lines. This book was a good read and was well put together it kept me engaged and wanting to find out what will happen next. I know that I want to read the next book to find out what will happen to the main character and her best friend. There are vivid sexual scenes but this book isn't raunchy but is along the lines of being classy and interesting. The Narrator was very good and the twist and turns in the book will make you say WOW I wasn't expecting that.
"Bubble Bath & Glass of Wine Book!"
Sure, this book was fun and had a good plot, it was worth the enjoyment of listening. I recommend a glass of wine and a hot bubble bath to complement the book.
She sounded like Evelyn Lozada to me in a way, her voice was really great and she moved into and out of each charactor in a perfect manner! She was the highlight to the story.
There are sound effects in the book and I was not a huge fan of that, it was a bit cheesy, although I get that it added a movie like setting, I prefer to use my imagination.
"Pleasantly Surprised"
YES
The twist at the end
Jackie
Absolutely
I'm definitely not a fan of Evelyn Lozada from Basketball Wives. She's not someone that I would have supported given her negative attitude and ghetto personality portrayed on the show. I didn't realize that she was the author of this book or else I would not have purchased it. I must say that I'm glad that I did because the book kept my interest from the start and I completed it the same day. I'm actually looking forward to the next edition of the book. Well worth the purchase and although I'm not a fan of her as a person. I am a fan of her writing. I hope the next book is just as interesting.
"Wow!"
This is the perfect book for pleasure reading. Even though it is fiction, it full of real life emotions and situations. It left me wanting more! The words flow, the story lines are real and shocking. The characters were so real to life that I could relate to them and in some instances, I am them. Thanks, This was a good way to get back to reading.
The bathroom .... you will have to read to find out why.

EVE. She was as real as real can get.
It felt like I was there watching the scenes unfold. She did great.
Not sure..all the men were players or held secrets.
Evelyn, you did good. I'm surprised. I must admit that I didn't expect much due to you character on BBW, but you pulled the story through. Looking for more from you.

Ready for the next book...
"!!!!Surprisingly a REALLY REALLY Good READ!!!!!!!!"
I had no expectation, because I only know the author as a reality show personality. Well be not disappointed getting this book. It was really good. The narrator slammed this one.
This book draws a picture of items seen on the BBW, but digs a little deeper, especially in character development. It’s about a group of women that form a club based on them being involved with athletes. The groups premise is protection from those outside the circle trying to get in, like, groupies and such. Get in by trying to get their men. (Eye roll, lol) They try to get pregnant for cash and a whole lot of other instances. I will stop here before I give it away. It’s not predictable but it is......It is real juicy at times.
'Inner Circle' written by Evelyn Lozada....She got skills. (ebonically speaking). The book was surprisingly a very good read. Between her and Ashley and JaQuavis, Cash Money is doing their thing in the book arena well, similar to their music careers. I would definitely refer this book.
