The Shift is a call to become more conscious, to move from aimless ambition to meaning and purpose. Making this shift is a necessity in order to live a peaceful, fulfilling life aligned with your divine calling. In this deeply engaging live seminar, Dr. Wayne W. Dyer explains that, instead of heeding the demands of the ego, which keep you mired in self-sabotage through never-ending pleas and false promises, you can choose to move in a new direction—one that leaves the false self behind so you can reclaim your true nature. The ego has driven many of us away from our authentic selves. In Making the Shift, Wayne reveals how we can make that all-important U-turn and head back to the Source of being that created us.

I've listened to numerous lectures by Dr. Dyer. He's helped me tremendously. Just when I thought that I squeezed all I could out of his teachings, I was surprised that I learned some new stuff here. Dr. Dyer's lectures never disappoint! Highly recommended.
I'm 40 something female and like to escape into a book. I listen in the car and like a story that either business related or pure escapism.
Wayne Dyer's erroneous zones was the first book I picked up in the 1980's when life turned pear shaped for me. having him talk to me in my car daily has not only relaxed me but opened up unexpected possibilities. It's not rocket science but his voice is calming and that can only be positive to my concentration, my inner peace and my outlook on life. I recommend this book if you wish to be challenged to do better in your life.
I loved the movie The Shift, and enjoyed this audio very much.
I had as many “laugh out loud” moments as I did “ah ha” moments.
I am really a big fan of Dyer. He had helped me in so many ways that no one can understand. He is my guru, my friend, my master. I know that he is a little bit arrogant (even he does not think he is) and egotistic (sorry Wayne, you are human) but I love him anyway. I am giving him four stars for this book just for the reasons I told you before, however after having reading and hearing a lot of his material, this one does not say anything new. Just maybe the news about his cancer, the end of his marriage, and the stuff about eating sugar, but everything else was Dyer all over again. The same stories, funny though, but nothing new. If you are a huge fan of Dyer, like me, you can forgive that, but if you are not, you better buy Excuses be gone (a great book).

Loved this audio lecture. Wayne has such great material and while it covers much of what he has said before it is still awesome and inspiring.
Sometimes hearing the same information from a different angle can make all the difference.
Well worth the listen. I will be listening to it again. Thanks Wayne!
I have used this Audio in conjunction with the audio presentation Change Your Thoughts Change you Life. The 10hrs + of audio presentation takes the Shift in your life to the very present moment. I highly recommend both audio's and to be used not just as a one of listen. The quality of the presentation is excellent. Money well spent.
I highly recommend it if you wanna make a positive shift in your life. He talks about Excuses BeGone toward the end too. I also bought the book on kindle too.
Awareness & Alignment Aid
The chapters that spoke to this compulsive eater were acutely inspiring and useful.
The chapter on sugar would be a nugget to someone who hadn't been exposed to this knowledge already and was in the right place to receive the help. I knew of the sugar detriment and found the hearing a good reminder and reinforcer of my understanding.
Some parts were so in alighment with my journey it was profuoud. I accepted it for its reality of me being in the exact right spot of awareness to receive it gratefully.
The parts that I found non-useful are simply that way for me and are my story of them. I wasn't ready to receive them at this time. I don't reject them and know that they are right for another. I know this because they are in the reading.
I am a Wayne Dyer fan and while a lot of this was repeated material, his new thought on the “shift” were refreshing. Listened to it twice on my commute and will probably do it one more time.
