Ricky Gervais, of course, is the award-winning co-creator and star of The Office (upon which the NBC hit series is based) and HBO's Extras. Steve Merchant, who also stars in Extras, is his long-time creative partner. Karl is a humanoid life form of undetermined origin.

"laugh out loud funny"
Ricky Gervais is the perfect antidote to a boring car trip. My wife and I listened to the first and second seasons of his podcast over the holidays. At times I worried that I might have to pull the car over because I was laughing so hard.
"Kept me laughing"
I love this podcast - I have listened to parts of it several times. It is tough to describe but well worth a listen. I find these 3 very funny. Ricky Gervais can sometimes get a bit loud, but it is understandable.
I'm a big fan of non-fiction and science related books as it gives me insight into things about the world that I would otherwise be clueless about.
"Laugh after Laugh"
I think Ricky and Steve do a great job at instigating Karl to say what he says, which is what really makes these podcasts funny.
An Idiot on Podcasts
"You're either a fan or you're not"
If you love Ricky, Karl and Steve then you will not be disappointed in this, their second venture into the world of podcasts. I thought it was as funny as the first season and still embarrassed myself frequently in public places as I listened to it. I finally realized that being known about town as the woman who wears her Ipod, bursting into periodic laughter over nothing and giggling to herself sounded like a character that Karl may have grown up with. But I don't care, I love Ricky Gervais and his crew and his podcasts never, ever let me down.
"Great Show, but don't buy this version"
This is one of the best shows available on audible, but do not buy this copy. This version is just all of the episodes in one big file, rather than the individual episodes. Just go to the individual episodes on audible and buy them one buy one. It's a better deal.
