Publisher's Summary

Gideon Cross: As beautiful and flawless on the outside as he was damaged and tormented on the inside. He was a bright, scorching flame that singed me with the darkest of pleasures. I couldn’t stay away. I didn’t want to. He was my addiction…my every desire…mine.

My past was as violent as his, and I was just as broken. We’d never work. It was too hard, too painful…except when it was perfect. Those moments when the driving hunger and desperate love were the most exquisite insanity.

We were bound by our need. And our passion would take us beyond our limits to the sweetest, sharpest edge of obsession.…

"This narration is why we buy audiobooks."

I couldn't wait to hear what happened Gideon and Eva, so I purchased "Reflected In You" for my kindle and read the book at one sitting. I enjoyed Jill Redfield's narration of "Bared to You" so I decided to purchase the audiobook of "Reflected in You" when it became available. I much prefer Jill Redfield's narration to reading the book to myself. This book is fairly well written and moves the story forward toward the hopefully happy ending in book three.

    "Less fun than dysfunctional"

This one was not nearly as hot or sexy as the first book. He's broken she's broken, everyone is broken....now how do we get our neuroses to all live happily ever after together.

It wasn't bad, I was just expecting much more.

    "Fifty Shades Minus Twilight."

Hot, sexy, fit, late twenty-something billionaire who built his empire from scratch before turning 30 despite having a traumatic past immediately becomes obsessed with young twenty-something girl who is pretty and doesn't know it and despite beginning the sexcapades more like a business transaction and swearing he doesn't do the relationship thing, he immediately fall in love, plasters his walls with giant pictures of her and become super possesive, stalkerish, and jealous of anything with a penis.

Wait. What book am I reviewing? Oh yeah.

Christian... Oops! I mean Gideon... is the kind of guy who ignores a girl then when she gets upset tells her he wasn't that he only sees her, then screws her brains out and goes back to ignoring her. Her is Eva, not Ana, and she's constantly looking for something wrong with this guy she's so drawn to. The nightmare rape and real rape while the guy is having a nightmare only bothers her for a few hours before they do it again. Drama drama drama. There was so much forced drama that lead to sex that it really got old quick. Too much sexy time can chafe. These kinds of relationships are so friggin unhealthy and if it were real life there'd be a restraining order involved.

But it's not real life, it's an erotic novel. And as my friend tells me, I need to quit analyzing this stuff as a real story and just appreciate it for the hot and sexy romp that it is. I try, I really do. But I can't help myself... like... you may notice that every single person, even the bit players in the book, are sexy. The roommate, the cab driver, the boss, the boss's boyfriend, the secretary at the front desk... the office assistant... EVERYONE is HOT.

So if that doesn't bother you, enjoy :)

"AN AWESOME, INTENSE AND PASSION FILLED LISTEN"

I loved this book - yes their relationship was like a rollercoaster ride of emotions due to their obsessive and dysfunction love for each other. Then the break-up period was just heartbreaking and I felt really sorry for each of them even tho I knew why Gideon was doing it sadly Eva didn't. I won't give the ending away, but I thought the last 1hr was soooo touching.

I think it was a sexually charged, romantic, dark and compelling listen which had great characters who were all involved in a tense but joyous love story that's totally addictive - for me anyway.

My patience is going to be severely tested as I will have to wait until next May for the third installment Entwined With You.

Worth a credit? Yes absolutely and after I finished it I could have listened to it again.

Where does Reflected in You rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Still love the story but disappointed with the second book in the series - not as good as book one. Hope the final book will meet my expectations.

    "Don't shoot the messenger!"

I loved Bared to You, so perhaps my hopes were a little too high for Reflected. This book ran both HOT and COLD for me. At times it was amazing (the sex) but mostly it was just so-so. Gideon and Eva are all over the place. There were times in this book that I really wanted them to work out there differences and just be happy together. Other times I hated one or the other so much I almost gave up listening. There were too many places in the story that just made me roll my eyes and say "really?".
Like the first book there are still too many unanswered questions (Gideon's past for example) and there needs to be a little more character development. Overall I still enjoyed the book and plan to read the next one.

    "Mental Illness: A Love Story"

Seventy five percent of this book annoyed the hell out of me. It was a lot of filler material to stretch the story to three books when two books would have been enough. All the passion and love I felt between Eva and Gideon in the first book turned into obsession and darker than I would have liked. These are two people with what sounds like borderline personality disorder in a very disfunctional relationship were both used sex instead of talking. Sex to show love, sex to punish...

The last two hours of the audiobook is when things pick up in a very unexpected way. I never expected what happened and although some questions are answered I was left with a million more questions. I found it funny how insane several characters are. Eva, Gideon, Cari, Eva's mother and Gideon's brother all need to be medicated. So basically if you start getting annoyed by their constant fighting, jealousy and immature tantrums, please keep listening because the end is well worth it.

Narration: Jill Redfield did a very good job again. I give her five stars but four to the producers because there was some background noise and she sounded too low sometimes. She's so good as a narrator that she made Eva extra annoying with how needy and immature she sounded and Gideon so so so criptic.

The last book of the series should come out in December and I can't wait to see how Eva and Gideon can make their relationship work on the long run with less drama, if Cari will be able to be monogamous and what's up with Gideon's strange brother...

Talk about a roller coaster of love and angst! I was so engulfed in this story I listened to it start to finish in one day!! The narrator does such a fabulous job! I was living the story vicariously. Can't believe we have to wait until December for the next (or last) book. :(
