Ann Silver is a cop’s cop. As the Midwest Homicide Investigator, she is called in to help local law enforcement on the worst of cases, looking for answers to murder. Hers is one of the region’s most trusted investigative positions. Paul Falcon is the FBI’s top murder cop in the Midwest. If the victim carried a federal badge or had a security clearance, odds are good Paul and his team see the case file or work the murder.
Their lives intersect when Ann arrives to pass a case off her desk and onto his. A car wreck and a suspicious death offer a lead on a hired shooter he is tracking. Paul isn’t expecting to meet someone, the kind that goes on the personal side of the ledger, but Ann Silver has his attention.
The better he gets to know her, the more Paul realizes her job barely scratches the surface of who she is. She knows spies and soldiers and U.S. Marshals, and has written books about them. She is friends with the former vice president. People with good reason to be cautious about who they let into their lives deeply trust her. Paul wonders just what secrets Ann is keeping, until she shows him the John Doe Killer case file, and he starts to realize just who this lady he is falling in love with really is....

"DEE surprises you again"
The narrator has a great voice range to bring all these characters to life.
If you love Dee Henderson, you will love this book. She has done it again with characters that make you think and that you will enjoy. This story has a lot of twists and turns. If you like mystery and romance this book is for you.
"Uplifting Story"
This is a book about faith and trust and I guess that because it is a Christian book I would be reluctant to recommend it to those who would not hear the message it carries.
I enjoyed the many twists and turns in the story - it kept me interested and wanting to hear more. I guess the bit I liked most about this story was listening to Paul Falcon talk about his faith and his family.
When Paul and Ann married.
I didn't listen to it in one sitting but it was my constant companion for two days.
I hadn't read or listened to any of Dee Hendersons books before and have now become an avid fan. Listening to this book had me intrigued about the O'Malley's and so I have now started reading that series. Unfortunately only book 6 is available as an audiobook.
"Dee Henderson's best yet!!!"
I love Dee Henderson, but this is definitely her best book yet! I love how she weaves in characters from a number of her previous books and it is done seamlessly! I read it the day it came out and enjoyed it again by listening!!
"Wonderful story! Good to have Dee Henderson back!"
I have been a Dee Henderson fan for years, so I was thrilled when Full Disclosure was released. This book thoroughly lived up to her past works. For all Dee Henderson fans who didn't want the O'Malley series to end - you're going to want to read this book!
"Exciting Story"
Yes, the story is very exciting
Changing his voice a little more for different characters and be a little more expressive
yes, if I could
"Nice come back for Dee Henderson."
Flashback, Complicated, What'sNext
I had figured it out, so I was a bit disappointed, but it was a nice journey.
I have not, but I want to. I really like his voice and reading style
No, but once I got started, it was hard to go and do anything else.
This is a nice com back for Dee. She has been out for some time and I thought she would never write again. I hope that she will write more soon. I enjoyed her characters, but I would have liked to have see more action and less conversion about how their relationship would look like. I have never seen a couple do what these two did. I look forward to another book! Loved David's performance.
"Very wordy"
This story was interesting at times. I would have sped read it if it were not audible. Way too much discussion about how they could make a marrige work. If your in love you get married and make it work. If your not, well don't get married. It's really NOT that complicated. Too much philosophizing. Overall, don't waste your time. Not one of Dee's better books. Too bad she never seems to reach the same level of a good book outside of the O'Malley series. The Narrator did very well.
"Lots of surprises"
I would definitely recommend this book, but only if they first read Dee's OMalley and Military Series. I've enjoyed her stories so much, and re-read them often. Was so excited when I saw she FINALLY published another.
In the beginning, I was ready to email her and ask her why she she didn't use the correct names. I recognized Dave and Kate right away, but it was Richards, not Sinclair. Glad I waited. Loved the way she pulled it all together. Loved the way I could recognize all her characters. So satisfying. I absolutely LOVED all of it.
At the end, that she married Paul.
I did have an extreme reaction. I did both, with a lot of OHHHS in there too.
Please Dee, don't wait so long to write more. I've re-read you so much, I could probably quote dialogue. You're a very gifted writer. A feel good writer. We need more.
"Yuck"
Someone who likes Christian romance.
Perhaps I didn't read the blurb well enough, but I thought this was going to be a crime thriller - turned out to be a Christian romance full of one-dimensional characters of high moral standing....boring.
The narrator read women's voices in a really annoying way.
I din't get all the way to the end, so not sure.
"Too preachy"
Leave out the preaching. Felt it interfered with the flow of the story.
No. I'm not an overly religious person and don't appreciate it being the central point of a story.
He covered the full spectrum, making each individual distinguishable.
Entirely up to the author but I won't be purchasing it.
In the synopsis, it should have been noted that this is a very religion-oriented book.
