Minister and best-selling author Max Lucado is an accomplished master of poetic prose and a thoughtful observer. With this remarkable book, he encourages even the most weary to hope and dream again.
Drawing on stories from the Bible and from everyday life, the author illustrates that your circumstances are no different from those of many others. He tells about people who were lost, discouraged, or troubled. And as you listen closely to their stories, it’s as if you can hear God gently calling to you and offering encouragement in a voice more loving than you could ever have imagined.
Brian Keeler’s heart-warming narration inspires you to listen for the Father’s gentle whisper and let go of your doubts and fears.

"It's OK"
I'm not sure. The narrator wasn't bad, the book was a "feel good" listen. He succeeds in conveying simple truths simply - not overcomplicating things. I was hoping for a more in-depth treatment of some of the issues, though.
I would not recommend this book to friends - some parts seemed sappy to me.
NA
Possibly - but I fear the author's style might result in material similarly lacking in depth.
I think this book is best for someone fairly new to the faith, or someone coming out of a very legalistic religious background.
