Hiccup is lost in the Library Labyrinth and the Driller-Dragons, Madguts and Murderous, are on the prowl. Hiccup's birthday is not going to be the quiet affair he hoped for.... This book also contains a comprehensive Dragonese Dictionary for those who'd like to dragon-whisper themselves.

"Not Unabridged"
Although David Tennant was marvelous once again, and Cressida Cowell's story was as engaging as ever, it was dissappointing that this was *not* an unabridged version. The end seemed very sudden, which was explained when we discovered that the book goes on further. I don't know what else might have been missed.
"Fixed! The end of the book is now included"
Everything David Tennant does is marvelous (I've listened to everything available on Audible). This recording is no exception. I have a hard time waiting for hm to record each book in the Cowell series as it gets published.
This audiobook has been missing the last 20 minutes for a long time. It is now complete, so any reviews that state it is incomplete are outdated. I love this series by Cressida Cowell. The books are hilarious, exciting and touching. It is also worth noting that the music in the entire series is really good, which is not something I expect from audiobooks. I recommend buying all of them! They just get better and better. Cowell's website gives the order of the books, starting with "How to Train Your Dragon."
"Where is the ending?"
I would recommend the book, but not the audible version. The book is missing the ending.
Will you please update this download to include the ending!
"Left Hanging"
My son loves all the How to Train Your Dragon books, but with this one he was left hanging because chapter 19 was left out of the reading. This makes a very BIG difference especially due to the fact that he was following along with the actual book.
"Adorable"
I like kid books on occasion. Don't get into this one thinking its anything like the movie though. So long as you keep the two separate from each other its enjoyable even for adults. Very cute and adorable as well as a lot of fun.
"Delighfully dragony!"
I love the sound of David Tennant's voice. He brings everything to life with humour and respect.
Toothless has a lot of personality, but I'd have to go with Kamikaze.
The fight with the Hairy Scary Librarian was well-written and nicely executed.
I'd love to have read it all in one sitting, but we use these as entertainment on longer drives, and this took two longer drives to get it done.
More Tennant. All fantastic.
"Fun to listen to"
This book is equal to the other books in the Dragon series. They are all awesome and really fun to listen to, The narration is wonderful with great voices so you really can believe the whole cast is there. This was the 4th book in the series I listened to and have the other 4 on my ipod now waiting for the chance to escape into my head.
I Highly recommend this series to anyone young at heart.
"Another Rip-Roaring Dragon Story"
Author Cressida Cowell and narrator David Tennant are a brilliant combination. In this slightly shorter story (two and a quarter hours) he does his usual terrific job of bringing each distinct character to life while delivering the laughs, suspense and action that are the hallmarks of these books.
avid audiobook listener, sociopath, nerd.
"Not just for kids!"
I am probably too old for these books but I have enjoyed every one of them immensely. They are all well written, and wonderfully read by one of my very favorite actors!
Retired aircraft systems engineer. Teach math (trig and calculus) part time at the local college. Love aircraft, reading, and horses. BS from New Mexico State, MS from Ohio State.
"This is an outstanding kids series"
My 9 year old daughter will not stop listening to these audiobooks. This one has been listened to four times and she STILL wants to hear it. David Tennant does a remarkable job narrating a superb fantasy story of Cowells. I would recommend this audiobook and in fact any of the How to Train your Dragon Books to everyone.
