Imagine, just 12 weeks from now, having the lean, healthy body you've always wanted and not having to turn your life upside down to get it. Imagine having the energy to be at your peak from dawn to dusk, having the confidence to do all the things you've been putting off, having the certainty to make the right decision at the right time, and knowing that you really do have the power to change, not just your body, but anything in this world you set your mind to.
If this sounds unlikely, or maybe even impossible, it's time you were introduced to Bill Phillips and his Body-for-LIFE program. It's time you join those who have experienced breakthroughs with the help of his expert advice.
These people include: hundreds of thousands of men and women who read his magazine for guidance and straightforward information about exercise, nutrition, and living with strength.
Elite professional athletes, among them John Elway, Karl Malone, Mike Piazza, and Terrell Davis, who have turned to Phillips for clear-cut information to enhance their energy and performance.
People once plagued by obesity, alcoholism, and life-threatening ailments who accepted a personal challenge from Phillips and, with his help, have now regained control of their bodies and lives.
The principles of the Body-for-LIFE program are surprisingly simple but remarkably powerful. Allow yourself to experience the force of the information on this audio, allow yourself to take your mind, your body, your life to a higher point than you may have ever dreamed you could. All in as little as 12 weeks.

"I admire Bill Phillips because he believes so much in what he's doing, and he's helped so many people, including me." (John Elway, two-time NFL world champion)
"Is $12.95 good value for your life? You tell me."
I have been a personal trainer for the last 15 years. This program simply works for every single client I have ever suggested it to. I myself tried it (before recommending it) my own results were outstanding 28lb fat loss in the first 5 weeks, for the other 7 weeks I lost an average 1.5 lbs a week . BUT like every program out there you have to commit to it. It worked because I did everything the book and tape suggested. Taking the photos of myself at the beginning gave me a huge slap in the face. I was gutted, they really showed me how I didn't want to look. I took weekly photos after that cataloging my progress, each week became a 7 day contest to get as far away from that original set of pictures as possible. I'm now really proud of these pictures
Be aware the only people who this program didn't work for either didn't follow the training, didn't follow the diet or didn't follow any of the other advice, basically they didn't do the program.
The book outlines everything you are going to need from planning the results you want to achieve, to outlining each of your days on the program, both nutritionally and training wise. The section on exercises is concise and to the point. Some people criticise the promotion of certain products within the book. Why write a book if you can only share part of the knowledge. The supplements recommended work. Enough said.
The training is simple enough for both a beginner and an advanced trainee to get good results from. Its fun and you can decide how tough to make it.
As to the testimonials. Well, they are pretty American, but ALL these people DID achieve oustanding RESULTS, that should be celebrated and shared.
If you are unhappy with your shape and want to achieve a lean, healthy new outlook on life in 12 weeks, then this piece of work is outstanding value. But read it, plan it,then DO IT!!!
"The best for 49 year old"
As a 49 year old male who has tried many programs, I find Body For Life to be the best program I have ever tried in my life. Within 6 weeks I had lost 3 inches from my waist, had more energy and felt the best I had felt since high school.
"Good Starting Point"
The testimonials don't detract too much from the basic content. This entire book is based on very simple principles: 1) exercise 2) eat healthy. It doesn't require a dragged out, long audio to cover that. The problem is that most people lack the motivation...which is why the testimonials are included. This is his "inside-out" approach because the mind must want to make changes to the body.
If you are new to working out and need to be educated on basic nutrition and exercise guide lines, this is a great starting point. If you are someone that is already in a program and needs improvements, this is also good.
The main downside on this abridged audio is that it does not include specifics on what exercises to do for each muscle group. I'm assuming that is included in the book...but you can also get it online on the website.
"Weight Loss Program? It's a Life Transformation"
I skipped all the personal stories in the book. I needed to create my own story.
I read the conceptual sections of the book!
Followed the concepts!
Lost 50lbs!
Strength Increased!
Definitely Improved Health!
Feel GREAT! ...
And beyond that, my life has changed.
Instead of going throughout my day doing the needful thing, I've begun to tackle all of lifes challenges differently. I can not credit the book for achievements, but, I can credit the book with changing my perceptions of life. I've now become a self-improvement nut.
My transformations did not stop with physical aspects but carried through to Emotional, Financial, Career, Relationships, Education, Religious, etc. Basically, everything about myself was interrogated through introspection. What could I change? Anything! What should it change to? What ever I wanted it to become!
I had unlocked the ability to set goals and know it was simple to achieve them. Give it a try and don't stop with Weight loss. I started 1.5yrs ago and now exercise my body, mind, and intellect regularly.
Why do you think I'm on audible.com now? :-)
Enjoy!

"No meat, too bland, too much filler"
Just testimonials. No actual substance to the program. The "meat" of the book starts at the last 30 minutes of the book, and stops short.
More substance! More step by step how-to. More examples of the exercises and recipes -- not just a bunch of testimonials from people who succeeded.
Too much background music. Hard to follow. Too many testimonials so it's distracting.
The book seemed more like a salesletter or a news report on the program, and not the actual program itself.
"Not a 12 week plan"
A real 12-week exercise and fitness plan. This recording only contained testimonials and sales pitches for product. Very disappointing.
Beware - he just wants you to purchase his supplements.
"Not the same as Printed Book"
I was expecting to be able to switch between the audio book and the printed book, but these are not the same. I like to listen to the book as I'm reading the hard copy. I couldn't do this with this book. I was very disappointed.
The material is good stuff, I recommend the contents to anyone, I was just hoping for an audio version of the printed book.
Tell us about yourself!
"Buy the Hardcopy instead"
I did this program years back and it worked for me, just like in the before after picts...and I know it works if you follow it. I want to put myself on a new program and while I mostly know what to do, I wanted some refreshers and motivation.
This audio book is no where Near as good as the hard copy book and I feel like I just wasted my time listening to it.
At best, I would say do both books to compliment each other, but this audio book on its own is fairly useless.
"Not what I expected"
Someone who needs to switch on their brain to the positive effects of healthy eating and exercise. I'm not in that place. I already have had this transformation at the age of 50. I eat non processed food, no added sugar, protein with every meal, reduced carbs and exercise.
There was a lot of positive brain feedback in the book, it would be great for someone just starting on the journey.
I'd like a book that actually explains how to put together a exercise plan. One that explains the exercises and how they are performed and what they do. I'd like more information on diet plans.
The narrator had a lovely voice, no particular favourite. I liked the readers who talked about themselves and how their lives had been changed. I see it was bill himself as narrator, he really sold the concept well but as I said, I was expecting more info on exercise.
Just a bit of all the same info throughout, needed more info to present. I was bored.
"Buy this and You're Paying to Hear a Myoplex Ad!"
Duh! I should have known by that guy's cheesy toothpaste salesman smile on the cover and all the schmoozy, "float over the music testimonials" cheerleader testimonials.
This audio book is the work of a Los Angeles marketing agency. It is a thinly disguised advert for Myoplex.
If there are lots of positive reviews, they have almost certainly been bought.
On the face of it the plan seems good. It seems well put together until you get down to the nitty gritty of training - there is absolutely no substance there at all. He just says do weights.
I went to the website looking for a weight training routine - the agency goes on and on about weight training, but no routine to be found.
Take my advice if you want to get the gist of this book - just go to their website and read the sales copy.
Very disappointed in the ethics behind this one.
