They're here.
They ride.
The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
Born of a match between good and evil, four siblings stand between hell's minions and everything they want to destroy. They are the Lords of Deliverance, and they have the power to ward off Doomsday... or let it ride....
Jillian Cardiff came to this remote mountain town to forget the demon attack that almost killed her. Instead, she rescues - and falls for - a gorgeous stranger who has no memory of anything other than his name.
Handsome, charming, and protective, Reseph seems like the kind of man whom Jillian can trust. But with hints of a troubling history of his own, he's also the kind of man who can be very dangerous...
Reseph may not know why he mysteriously appeared in Jillian's life, but he knows he wants to stay. Yet when Jillian's neighbors are killed, and demon hunters arrive on the scene, Reseph fears that he's putting Jillian in danger. And once it's revealed that Reseph is also Pestilence, the Horseman responsible for ravaging the world, he and Jillian must face the greatest challenge of all: Can they forget the horrors of a chilling past to save the future they both desire? (Book 4 of the Lords of Deliverance series)

"Reseph's Redemption"
What a GREAT ending to the Lords of Deliverance series. Although I wasn't crazy about book 3, this one more then made up for it. Reseph was so horrible in the previous three books that I found it hard to believe the author could possibly make his redemption believable. Thankfully I was so wrong! You will absolutely fall in love with Reseph in this book. Ms. Ione did a brilliant job of making it feel real and not forced.
I want to give this book 5 stars all around, but again I didn't care for the narrator (just a personal preference).
Overall this is a credit worthy listen and a must read for fans of the series.
QUESTION : DOES LISTENING TO AUDIO BOOKS MAKE YOU SMARTER? If so, I'm. Freakin Genius!
"My Favorite Book in "Riders" Series!"
If your a fan of Author, Larissa Ione. You are going to love this book. I did.
Credit Worthy? YES!
I love to read but with my busy schedule I barely get a chance to. However, audiobooks allow me to "read" while I manage my crazy life.
"This book needed to be longer!"
This particular installment is one that you have to have read the previous books to fully grasp the activities in this book. We start off almost immediately after the last book ended, finding Reseph butt-naked (no complaints here) in the middle of snow, snow, and more snow where a kind-hearted and self-sacrificing Jillian finds him and drags him to her cabin to nurse him to health.
Reseph is not what I had expected because as a spectator, I've only ever saw him as Pestilence. Even though there were intermittent memories brought on by his siblings as to the type of person he was before his seal broke, it was hard not to see him as absolute evil. The Reseph we are introduced to in this book is playful and so very sexual I felt almost sorry and jealous (ha!) for Jillian. There was no way for her to win the battle of her heart when it came to him. Reseph on the other hand falls hard for her and even without the full capacity of his memories, he knows he loves her and is positive he never felt that way about another female. Their love story is sweet and Ione does a fantastic job at softening the reader to Reseph and she is a master at creating caring and loving, yet insanely badass chicks as we see in Jillian.
My biggest complaint with this book is that it needed to be longer! Reseph had a lot of ground to cover after the destruction he had done and I felt like the story moved very quickly, but not in a fast-paced, action-packed way, but in a way that left the reader detached from all the happenings. Results or after-maths were told in dialogue rather than shown. I think I had the same issue in the last installment where I felt like the story was not as richly depicted. I also was expecting a bigger to-do when they came up against the Aegis, especially after what happened in the last book, but when the scene came I was a bit disappointed. I mean I'm not looking for a Michael Bay rendition, but more of the complexity and development of the characters during these types of situations. Also (I always seem to whine about this, but I can't help it, I love the characters in this series) I wish there was more of the past characters besides the four horsemen, i.e. the Sem brothers and their growing family.
I guess I'm just being greedy. I love the Lod and Demonica series that Ione has created and I want more.
There is a huge revelation and when that part came around I was whooping. Yup, whooping and yelling "I knew it, I knew it," around people who didn't know I was "plugged" in (*^.^*) which then required some explanation as to what I knew.
I can't wait for the next installment! It's gonna be brilliant I can feel it! I hope Ione doesn't stop writing this series because it is one of the best!
"Hot Chocolate and great humor"
Of the stories in this series, this one is one of the best. Best dialogue of the series, as the author had to put all the books together, but still keep your interest without making it a commercial informercial
when the group is together holding the baby at the BBQ
Erin is the best reader in this series. Her female voice is very good, great pace. Her male voice could be deeper, but the dialogue in this story is fast pace so, it is a great listen.
I am not a great fan of paranormal, so this one is a great one for the genre.
"Awesome"
This is probably my second favorite series.
First is Black Dagger Brotheehood.
Black Dagger Brotherhood
"Great series"
It is good to have audio if your eye sight is felling you or if you need something to listen to besides music. Audio and print version is about the same. The series is really good. I would listen and read it again.
How the good of love over powers evil.
Great narrator. Smooth flow
Yes
"I can't believe I actually liked Reseph!"
Wow. Just wow.
The way Larissa turned Reseph's character around. I was really worried that I would still dislike him, but he ended up tugging on my heart strings.
Maybe. I haven't kept track of readers as much as I should, apparently.
Finding Redemption
O Day of days when we can read! The reader and the book, either without the other is naught. Ralph Waldo Emerson. I Love to read, a great time for me is curling up with a great book!!!
"Larissa Does it Again!"
The mark of a great author is to be able to redem the irredemable!!
I never though i would feel a connection to Pestilence, but I think i was more connected to him than i was to any of his siblings. Great Job L.I.!!
"A must!!"
Holy mother, this was a really good book!! Once again Larissa Ione has delivered a great book full of humor, passion, and action. And the spin holy mother is all I can say, yeah now the torturous waiting game for the next book begins! If you are not a Rouge Rider follower give this one a try.
"No disappointments with Rogue Rider"
I really hate it when a series comes to an end...BUT Larissa Ione has left some unfinished business with some certain angels...so I am hoping for some follow up stories with them...I have thoroughly ENJOYED every single one of Larissa Ione Books....Rogue Rider tells the story so well and includes some favorite characters from previous stories - so many loose ties get tied....Read - you will NOT be disappointed...BUT YES you need to read previous Dark Horse Rider stories 1st....
