Publisher's Summary

From number-one New York Times best-selling author Sherrilyn Kenyon comes the next thrilling installment in her blockbuster Dark-Hunter series.

The Mayans aren’t the only ones with a 2012 prophecy.…

Long before recorded history, there was a Keetoowah warrior so feared that everyone trembled before his wrath. Only a brutal betrayal by the one closest to him could defeat him. But not even death was the end of a man so strong.

The Time Untime approaches…

Kateri Avani has been plagued her entire life with dreams she doesn’t understand. Images of places she’s never been and of a man she’s never seen. Her quest for answers has driven her to Las Vegas where she hopes to finally silence the demons in her mind.

What she never anticipates is coming face to face with the warrior who has haunted her her entire life. One who belongs to a world the scientist in her refuses to believe is real. Ren Waya came back from the dead to keep the prophecy he began from coming true and ending the world. For thousands of years, he has fought the same evil that once possessed him. But now that evil has found the one person he can’t fight; the one person who, against his will, holds the most sacred part of him.

His heart.

But if he doesn’t kill Kateri, the deadliest of evils will reemerge and destroy everyone else on the planet. It was a sacrifice he made once.

Will he be able to make it again?

    Story
    "What have they done?"
What was one of the most memorable moments of Time Untime?

Ash's and Nick's conversation. I dont want to give anything way since this is a new book but its a powerful convo that you don't want to miss.

What does Holter Graham bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

That voice of his, Love that man's voice. He lets me be able to consentrate and visualize what he is saying. Normally I have nothing bad to say about him but what did he do to Talon's accent?.....He sounded as if he was from Austrila in this one.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    Timeless Love!

    Any additional comments?

I had some WOW I cant believe moments and alot laughs threw out this book and some that almost made me cry. I cant wait for the next in the series. If your a fan of SK you wont be disapointed, you get to catch up with Ash, Nick ( and lets you finally see his evil powers), Sundown. You find more out about Jared. I also think Sk had finally found a way to let Ash's mom out in coming books......this is about to get really good! I have high hopes for future books.

"Another Great Dark Hunter by Kenyon"
What made the experience of listening to Time Untime the most enjoyable?

The Narrator....Graham does such a great job.

What did you like best about this story?

The story had it all, action, romance, & whit...loved it.

What does Holter Graham bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The pain in the main characters voice...breaks your heart to hear it.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes...unfortunately life got in the way but I still managed to finish it faster than any of my other audio books.

    Any additional comments?

If you like J.R. Ward, Lara Adrian, and Kerrelynn Sparks then this is a series for you.

    Story
    "Not Very Timely"

First let me say I love the Dark Hunter series and the writing of Sherrilyn. But for me this book is a mis-mash. The romantic connection between Kat and Ren is rushed. And for once there is an over abundance of sarcasm. Even bringing in Ash and Sundown doesn't beef up this story. Introducing the Mayen gods just seems to complicate the story lines. Hot and steamy romance this is not. The story was boring for me and I found it difficult to finish. There was nothing particular interesting about the characters that made me care what happened to them. I found the story lacking. But if you love Holter Graham's voice it may get you through the story.

    Story
    "Dark Hunter? Really?"
Is there anything you would change about this book?

Yeah, the story. I end up listening to the first 5 chapter 3 times before continuing I kept getting lost and thought I wasn't paying attention but in truth it was all over the place. Even so some names and characters were familiar with the Dark Hunter series it was missing a clear story line. In some parts too much inner rambling, life lectures, too much jumping between their present and their past, etc.

What do you think your next listen will be?

    Waiting for Rapture J.R. Ward.

Which character – as performed by Holter Graham – was your favorite?

Love Holter Graham, he is one of my favorite narrators. He does a wonderfull job giving life to the words.

Do you think Time Untime needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Please no, leave this story line behind...I'm actually looking forward to the next book Stixx.

    Any additional comments?

I was relistening to some of the earlier Dark Hunters books and this one doesn't seem part of the series. Don't get me wrong I love the series but I notice that the last 2 books were moving away from "vintage Dark Hunter"(don't know how else to explain it). It's not what I have come to expect from the Dark Hunter seires. Not one of my favorites...but not ready to call it quit on the series, still have hope it will get back on track with the next book

    "Was this really SK?"

The story seemed written by a poor SK impersonator. Too generic, not enough depth to the main characters, action was bouncy, even the steam was lukewarm.

Oh well, even Kenyon deserves a break once in a while. Fingers crossed for the next one.

I am NOT giving up on the series which has been nothing short of spectacular.

    "Kenyon Scores Again"
Where does Time Untime rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I could praise Kenyon's writing for years. I have followed the Dark Hunter series for well over a decade. She never disappoints. I love Jess and it was great he showed up again. Its all about connections, history, love, identity and redemption. The sex is good too.

What other book might you compare Time Untime to and why?

Any of the books in the Dark Hunter series. Yet each is uniquely different.

What does Holter Graham bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I have some vision issues and I enjoy listening to a good reader. The characters are more alive when someone else reads..

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and no. I like to savor Kenyon's characters and how they interact with ASH.

    Any additional comments?

GREAT JOB KENYON YOU SCORED AGAIN

"Must Read- Great Tie In to Previous Books!"
Would you listen to Time Untime again? Why?

    Oh Yes.

What other book might you compare Time Untime to and why?

Retribution. This book is the greatest for carrying on where Asheron and Retribution left off!

    Which scene was your favorite?

    The Last Chapter

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    Both

    Any additional comments?

I hope all of her books will eventually tell everyone's story. I have read all this series so far and I hope that she continues with it. She is one of my favorite authors and I like all her other series, but the Dark Hunters and the Dream Hunters will always have a place in my heart.

    "Sherrilyn Kenyon outdoes herself!"

Anything by Sherrilyn Kenyon is NEVER a waste of time!

All of her stories are different enought that you get succered in and see how different characters play into each others lives!

I absolutely LOVE Nick Gautier in this book and can NEVER have enought of him in any of Kenyons stories!!!

If you love Kenyon's stuff this story is different enough to be "fresh" material but with some of our favorite past characters!

    Story
    "Easily my favorite since Acheron."
What did you love best about Time Untime?

I loved the way Ren's back story was reveiled. I thought it really fit with the play on time.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Of course, I always love to see Acheron, but I was happy also to see some other characters I have enjoyed in the past like Nick (who showed more of his old self than he has in a while) and Sundown (whose own book had been a disappointment given how much I like his character). I really liked both the hero and heroine in this book.

Which character – as performed by Holter Graham – was your favorite?

Choo is probably my favorite voice of his. However, I'm not fond of all his voices, and it grates on my nerves the way he pronounces Simi (not at all the way I've heard the author or anyone connected with her pronounce it).

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

There's always a few scenes in her books that make me laugh. It's one of the things I love about her books. I did shed a few tears, which was odd since I didn't even cry at Acheron's book.

    Any additional comments?

Yes, the last book intruduced a new Pantheon, and it continues in this book. Some people have found that confusing, but to me it makes sense. In the DH world, pretty much all the major religions (current and past) have some basis in that world's reality. Without spoiling the back story, I will say that I found this book highlighted some connections between this Pantheon and the previous ones she's introduced rather well, also tying it with Acheron's history.

"Not a fan of the narrator"
What did you love best about Time Untime?

The return of characters such as Ash of course, Talon & Sunshine, Sasha, Zarek, and Nick.

What did you like best about this story?

Ash and Nick's conversation, and the general progression of that story.

What three words best describe Holter Graham’s performance?

    annoying girl voices

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    no

    Any additional comments?

The main story is not as interesting as most SK novels, unless it was just the fact that this was my first SK audio book. I never got to the point of enjoying the narrator even after the 10 hours of listening to him. The female voices were the worst and I do think this took away from the story (a lot). Talon sounded exactly like the gecko on the geico commercials... so wrong!!! All the other DH sounded ok especially Ren (thankfully) and Nick, Ash was mediocre but that is understandable since no one could ever sound like he would. Having read all the DH series, I am a bit disappointed in this book. Most likely because I have been a bit disappointed in the whole new native american offshoot to the stories, I just can't get into them as much as the greek/atlantis or lycanthrope story lines.
