"Hot Box" is a baseball drill that can be played with three or more players and two to four bases. The players take turns being fielders and runners, ultimately trying to tag the rest of the players out. In The Hot Box, best friends Milena and Lydia are playing the game with Jacour, Yosef, Glenn, and Phil. The only problem: the men do not realize that they are playing.

This one of those books you have to go back.... because you can't believe you heard what was just said. I've never been a Zane fan...but I am now. Loved it.

"Loved the Hot Box!"
I really enjoyed this book. The characters were all very interesting, particularly Lydia. She is raw and doesn't care who knows it. Lydia's narrator has the perfect voice for her character. I laughed so much. This was even better than A Total Eclipse of the Heart! I have always enjoyed Zane's books. A reading must for Zane fans!!

"A MUST LISTEN"
I loved this book. Like the listener reviewed before me, I had to go back too because I could not believe what I'd just heard. Zane is a great author. Please please please add more of her books to this site please.

""Very Good Read""
I loved this audio book. I have read her new book The Total Eclipse of the Heart. Also a really good book. I'm differently a Zane fan 4 life. Need 2 add all her books 2 this site soon. PLEASE!!!!!!!!! Love you girl.

"Great Book"
This book is for open minded people who are familar with Erotica or her work. This is not the traditional Harlequin Romance, this is straight up Erotica done in a refreshing and comical way.
Finally, I am introduced to Zane by audible.com. I have for years, years wanted to read her books, but I could never find the time. The writer's story in itself is amazing, i.e. becoming a best selling author later in her life.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The story is raw, honest and "realtalk" for adults. The candor and exspite language of the book is shocking but so over the top
is comedical at times, which is what I think the author wants. You can't help but to be laugh at Lydia's complete inhibition in all areas of life. Lydia looks at life and her sexuality
which resembles "traditional male sexuality. I would call Lydia a Rakehell or Libertine. I loved Malena and empathized with her on several levels.4 of 4 people found this review helpful -

"Hotttt!!"
What did you love best about The Hot Box?I love Zane! I really liked the story itself. I was able to follow the transformation of the main character and the complications made it very interesting. I also enjoyed the humor!
What other book might you compare The Hot Box to and why?No other book comes to mind that I have read so far.
