Williamson reveals how we each can become a miracle worker by accepting God and by the expression of love in our daily lives. Whether our psychic pain is in the area of relationships, career, or health, she shows us how love is a potent force, the key to inner peace, and how by practicing love we can make our own lives more fulfilling while creating a more peaceful and loving world for our children.

"My return to love"
This book was suggested by my therapist. She warned that it might be too "religious" for me. I think this is the most impacting book I've read and I read a ton. It has sensitized me and awakened me like nothing else could. It changed my outlook entirely. . .and I've never said that before. It was a wonderful, human experience. I'm going to read it again and I can't even wait for the copy I lent to someone a couple of days ago!!!!
"Just what I needed"
I had this book on tape years ago and still do along with most of her stuff but I have not had a tape player to listen to it on for along time.I just downloaded it to my IPOD and can not wait to hear it again. She has a perfect understanding of human nature and knows exactly the right things to say to help you, help yourself through almost any situation. I would absolutely recommend this to any one who is looking for some spiritual guidance. I have all her other audibles in my wish list!
"Explains "A Course in Miracles""
Introduced to A Course in Miracles by a group of AA members, I found it helpful but a bit of a challenge. This author provides a wonderful, practical, plain-english introduction that resurrected my interest in the more challenging text. By itself, "A Return To Love" is a nice piece of work for those who hear that quiet voice saying "something is out of tune." For me, it was. Williams helped me understand the problem and the solution in a way that enabled me to get better...much better.
"A life changing listen"
Simpleness of the story meant I could relate to it easily.
not sure right now
Everything, it is complete.
The book touched a cord in my heart and allowed the light at the end of the dark tunnel to shine a little brighter.
A worthwhile listen
"Exactly what I needed..."
I am going through a tough time in my life, and I needed inspiration, a deeper level in which to go to heal. I found _A Return to Love_ after listening to Marianne Williamson's _A Course in Weight Loss_, which I also liked very much as a spiritual solution to weight loss and freedom from eating disorders. Yes, the problems are still there, but I am beginning a deeper relationship with unconditional (God) love in my own heart. A good introduction to feeling more love in your life. =D
On my journey to Love and live to the fullest.
"COMPLETE"
This has been what I needed. She is a great speaker. It is like I get what I am here for. Thank you so much.
"Good introduction to Course of Miracles"
Felt too short and brief. Every topic is covered very briefly in it. Leaves you hungry for more. Never gets deep enough into anything...
This is an Abridged version, and is obviously so. It seems to have been chopped very short. It seems that Marianne Williamson has attempted to fit as many words as she could into the allotted time, and they are quality words, but the result is that she had to read it very fast, which is at odds with the material covered. It almost sounds as if it has been speeded up! The material would suit a slower presentation. Marianne Williamson's delivery and voice is otherwise very listenable to.
One or two sittings, yes.
"Slow down..."
Marianne's style will suit some people, probably those people in a real hurry. The content of the book is great, but the frieght train pace quickly makes one a little nauseous.
"Classic"
Well this book is as Marianne Williamson says the cliff notes to A Course in Miracles which is a pretty chewy text. By sticking in the headphones & listening on a drive, it kept the principles fresh for when my ego got triggered at my destination. It was a meditation between meditations.
There is the famous quote that is often given credit to Nelson Mandela about the difference between arrogance & confidence..."who are you not to..." You are a child of God!
Not really as far as a book on tape. I have seen & heard her lectures as well as read her books. This is as I would expect from a combination of those activities.
That the Holy Spirit is my friend. That whenever I am feeling a "bad" feeling, I need to remember that there is no judgment of right or wrong. I need to accept the feeling & be willing to see things differently.
