"Should have stopped with book 3"
I love Ashley & JaQuavis, and this series very much. However, this is just a horrible book. These great characters just reappear and we are expected to believe it with no explanation. The only bright spot is the truly awesome reading of Cary Hite, at least he never misses.

"Tiring"
What disappointed you about The Cartel 4?Tired of several things very quickly: sound effects - really? description of every piece of clothing worn, yawn....Basically, while the series was never great, it was a decent read. This last one will be my last one. Reads like a B rated movie..
What could JaQuavis and Ashley have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?Add some polish. The storyline could really be compelling, but it just seems to devolve to the a bunch of cursing, descriptions of clothing, sex, crap. When they do attempt to show any depth or complexity to any of the characters, it starts to be interesting. It's quickly erased by something that portrays an extremely lucky/dumb/ super-human.
Any additional comments?I'm done. I need a story to end. It's clear this is a soap opera style book -- and I could care less what happens to any of the characters -- they're all just too shallow.

"Spirit's of the past"
This book is filled with the same drama that I like and have read in the previous Cartel series, with so many twists and turns it leaves you wanting more. I would go into detail about the characters but due to all the twists and turns of the previous Cartel series I don't want to give nothing away. The violence in the book is still what gives the book all the drama and give the readers an adrenalin rush. The narrator did an excellent job and brought life to this book and the characters will be having you say "wtf". Don't miss this one because it will leave you wanting more but it also answers questions that you may have formed in your head from the previous Cartel books.

"Fast paced, Exciting, Alot going on, & High Energy"
If you don’t pay attention, you will have to rewind. This book is a good read with more of the same from the previous reads in this series. Some stuff is straight unbelievable. Unbelievable in the sense you are going to be like, yeah right, that could happen(sarcastically). I did enjoy it, the sound effects, had me looking around at times trying to figure out if that was the book or something going on near me, lol. The character development, always good, you feel like you know them especially by now. I’m being really vague as not to give away the juiciness. You will not get bored, excitement throughout. Wondering if there will be a #5.

"Better than the Others"
Cartel 4 was much better than the previous books that I've listened to. I was actually hesitant to order this version, but I am glad that I did. I now look forward to the next book.

"Can't get enough of the Cartel!"
Would you listen to The Cartel 4 again? Why?I would definitely listen to the book again. I read the first three books but really enjoyed listening to the book during work. It helped the day go by faster.
What other book might you compare The Cartel 4 to and why?Family Business by Carl Weber
Any additional comments?I didn't care too much for the ending.

What does Cary Hite bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?Cary's versatility in becoming the character be it a thug,a lover or whatever , his voice is everything he's gotta be one of the best narrators.
