Sweet Persuasion: Sweet Series, Book 2

I love M.B.'s books and this one was is no exception - it had everything you would expect from one of her books namely passion, pleasure, plenty of hot sex all wrapped up in a great story with sensative characters.

Whilst I'm not into bdsm I get that some are, and this book treats it as part of a loving willing and giving partnership that is her fantasy - which is what the story is all about and how it backfires on her. She soon realises that it's not at all what she wants with heartbreaking consequences. This book was touching as the two lovers became drawn to each other and it took you along with them as their passions journeyed to it's final heartwarming conclusion.

Worth a credit? Oh that would be a big fat YES I 'm loving this series and I'm downloading the rest of them now. This could be a stand alone book but why miss a single book in this brilliant series.

Yes I would it has a wonderful couple that wants something in each other but are to blind to see what's right in front of them.

It does have moments that I did shed a tear or twoz and all the books I have a strong reaction to just most are more sexy/sensual.

Even though I love every thing by Ms Banks, I was not going to read the series because of the bdsm and sharing with a "third" which I don't really get. I was drawn in by the reviews and I am glad I listened to this audio. This story was different in that there was love and respect between Damon/Serena even though I still don't get the bdsm. I also liked that Damon would not share Serena with another. Serena and her friends made me laugh throughout the book. Great Audio!!!

Ms. Banks weaves a wonderful story. While the detail is a bit raw for some, the characters snag you and won't let go!!! This is an excellent series - I wasn't going to continue but I keep going on to the next book because I can't wait to see what happens next. I will be sad when I get to that last book.

This book is very sexually explict, which when it's done right, and in my opinion it was very right, is good. If strong sexual content bothers you then it's not for you. Otherwise, it's well worth a credit or the purchase price. I loved the first book in this series. Liked this one even better and I'm looking foward to book 3!!!!!!!

I would recommend this book if you are not afraid of explicit content. I debate whether this is good or bad behavior for a woman but it is her choice and she can always say no.....

No specific memorable moments but I enjoyed hearing about all the other characters this series is about.

I am not enjoying the narrator, but I am able to tolerate her. She speaks too fast and there is something about her tone that sounds fake.

I found the thought of a sex club...well different, and Serena's willingness to be auctioned as a slave...very different

It was a good storyline again, as always Maya Banks delivers.

Damon is an amazing character how knows exactly what he wants and what he's not willing to settle for. Serena gets caught up in her own professions of allowing people to live their dreams out in reality. As Damon leads her through what she believes is only her fantasy, she soon discovers its more than that. But Damon character provides what she needs patiently. The overall story is beautiful, it displays complete trust and vulnerably and both parties surrender.

Wicked Lovers Series by Shayla Black

Yes, she does the whole series and is fabulous.

This is probably the next to my least favorite in the series (Sweet Addiction is my least favorite) because there wasn't an action story mixed in (hunting a stalker, killer, etc.) The others can 'stand alone' - this one and Sweet Addiction not so much.
