"Best thing that i have heard for some time now"
I may be biased Louie hay has been a favourite for quite some time .her book , only one that i have read you can heal your life prompted me to pick up this title . wanted to record a tape for myself but this Saved the trouble . the music in the background is very soothingtoo . there are tons of free mp3's that are available on the net . and a lot of cassettes(CD's) too but i guess for me it remained on the to do list for quite some time .
The file plays for about an hour and has the affiramtions read out in both first person as well as second person ( check the hear a sample )
Worth a purchase .
"Thank you"
I love it!
The back ground music is calming helping you to repeat what she helps you affirm. Most of the time our self talk is negative and I've never met a person who was successful who was a pessamist?
I've come a long way and this program is awesome because for me it simply serves as a reminder.
I no longer live a life of a victim, but a victor!
A wise person once told me how you know something?
You are living it! That's it!
Thank you
"Excellent!"
Half this tape is subliminal and the other half with the voice in front of the music so you can hear what's on there. The subliminal message could be very helpful for certain people that presently find it hard to accept themselves as positive happy healthy prosperous human beings? So sit back, enjoy the music and feel good!
"An unlikely purchase worth its weight in gold..."
I'll admit that I fought purchasing a self-help book; especially a book on building self-esteem. But something pushed me to buy it. I'm glad I did. I never considered myself to have self-esteem issues, but after listening to the affirmations, I realized that my thoughts and language are self-limiting. It's like everything is possible and I feel ready for any change or challenge; much different than my former thought pattern of obligation or just wanting to get through the day. The affirmations are by no means a lecture nor are they the syrupy, overly ridiculous chanting from the likes of Jack Handy or some other guru spoof. They are gentle, relevant, and subtle in their transformation. I find Louise's voice to be as comforting as the affirmations. Enjoy listening!
"I Love you, Louise!"
I listen to this audio book every morning while I dress and get ready for the day. I repeat the affirmations out loud and think about what I am saying. Incorporating Louise's audio books (morning and evening) has helped me to believe in and love myself more than I ever dreamed possible. While it is up to me to make my life better, Louise's book(s) have helped me to help myself. "I love you."
"Awesome Affirmations!"
I love listening to the calming voice of Louise Hay.
I listen to her on the way to work (I work 10-12 hours in retail) to help give me the positive outlook I need to get through the day. Thanks Louise & I love you TOO!!!
"amazing!"
I listened to it while i was going to bed and listened to it all night. Slept better than I have in years and had no nightmares which is unusual for me! I feel wonderful when I wake in the morning and now make it a habit to listen to her books every night!
Recomend to anyone with nightmares or anxiety!
"Music not to my taste"
The first half of this recording is listening to Louise state self-esteem affirmations, and the second half is music, with the affirmations recorded subliminally. The problem is, I don't think I'll be able to use the product as recommended (twice a day for 30 days) because I *really* don't enjoy the music. Very 80s elevator-music like.
"Good Stuff"
The music is relaxing and so is her voice. I have listened to it every day for 30 days and I really think it helps.
"I feel, u feel, I care, u care, I love, u love"
The book is pure repetition essentially repeating I and you phrases for 30 minutes then followed by 30 minutes of chiming music. Maybe I'm just blind to seeing everything else that the other reviews saws, but the music sounds like something out of a bad 1970's show in the midst of a make-out scene. Can I get a refund? I can't listen to this without thinking about Jamie Summers and the Million Dollar Man running in for a romantic kiss. Great... now my self-esteem has just dropped some more after buying this audiobook. Refund please.
ummm... I'm not sure. I would be willing to try others.
No
All of them... This made me crazy. I was having a hard time getting into the I and you phrases repeated for 30 minutes and the music was outdated and really bad.
Can I have a refund
