"Staggering Among The Sentences"
I've never "read" a book narrated by Mike Vendetti so I don't know if it was his style, or the way the words were presented to him, but listening to this book was difficult. The abrupt...cadence...that ended before sentences did...and started just as...abruptly...became frustrating.
The descriptions of the Baltimore underbelly and its crime was interesting. The needlessly flowery descriptions made me want to fast forward to the good parts.
The performance was terrible. The only improvement would be to get another person to re-read this book.
I was disappointed with this book. I've "read" many crime books and this was sub-par.
