My Infamous Life is a must have for any fan of late 90's hip hop music. The story is compelling and Prodigy comes off as a great narrator as you get an insider point of view on many of the most significant events that shaped the landscape of hip hop music at the time.

"Exceptionally well crafted memoir"
There are elements of this book that would grow boring if recounted by a less skilled wordsmith. Prodigy has the charisma and perspective to take the fights, the guns, the drugs, the womanizing, and the industry politics that are common in hip-hop memoirs and craft from them an interesting narrative work of thoughtful introspection. Prodigy sounds like a man grateful for life and happy to be alive, a sharp contrast to the darkness of some of Mobb Deep's more familiar works, and his exuberance is infectious. Once I started listening to this in the car, I found myself looking for reasons to go on errands so I could knock off another chapter.

"Extremely Inspiring very Thought Provoking"
Words are inadequate to me,to describe the soul wrenching,thought provoking and hair-raising description bro Albert "Prodigy " Johnson depicts in his audio book. From his early beginning life experience in a tough unemphatic school,to growing up in drug filled streets,up until his arrest on minimal infractions ostensibly used to try and frame other hip individuals through a infamous "hip-hop Strike Force". Incredible what the police wanted him to do against other hip artists.
I only wish other would be artists who are trying to emulate Prodigy(the best parts),would listen carefully to the wisdom of
is words,on what to do and what not to do in this genre of entertainment. I thought bro Albert "Prodigy" was extremely honest,sincere and wise. I must have listen to this audio book 3 or 4 times.
I was especially happy that he gave reference to actually youtube videos of certain events,and even more thrilled to have couple of ganster rap songs about 10 minutes near the end of audio book part2,Prodigy's rap art is truly prodigious.
Great Great job Prodigy. This audio book is a must listen. You will not stop listening until its is completed.
