"Bad Narration"
I tried this book but could not get into it as the narration voices killed it.

"Hero's accent HORRIBLE, slow but OK story"
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?It was OK, not a total waste of time, but not something I want to repeat. Not necessarily going to look for more by this author.
Has Love by Design turned you off from other books in this genre?Nope. There's always a clinker in the bunch.
How did the narrator detract from the book?Awful accent for male lead--sometimes Italian, sometimes Irish, sometimes British, occasionally approximates Australian (but not often). Every time Russ speaks, I cringe. She did an OK job with the other characters, although it was a bit difficult to distinguish between female characters.
Could you see Love by Design being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?No.
Any additional comments?Where is the quality control for narrators? Some are excellent at accents, but some, like this one, are an embarrassment. I almost felt like I was listening to Robin Williams, with how often the accent changed.
