Real Wifeys: Get Money, An Urban Tale

I really enjoyed listening to this book from another person who was part of the first book.. Luscious was fierce and her motive to ruin Goldie made her succeed in the things that she did in her life. this story had me on the edge of my seat I didn't expect everything to unfold like it did. Goldie was still a bad chick in this story and I found myself siding with Luscious because of the dirty actions of Goldie from the first book. The narrator did a great job. The drama in this book was unexpected but this is what kept me listening to find out what's going to happen next. This is a hood novel though so all those readers who don't like street literature that include raunchy language and vivid sex scenes will not like this book. I loved this book and the way it kept me wanting to hear more.

Yes, because the performance of the narrarator is stellar!

I liked the way both women needed each other at the end, and their truce leads the listener wondering how long their truce will last.

Animosity and Revenge

This is a good author. I like her storyline and character development. She makes her characters fun and meaningful.

I had a hard time getting this book to play correctly. After several attempts from Audible, I was able to listen to it. When it first began , I was like this sounds corny already, but then I got hooked. It was one of those ghetto tales that has you waiting for the next scene. I immediately bought the second book.. I am now a big fan of the narrator Honey Jones.

Meesha Mink has been a favorite author of mine for sometime now. I wished they would add more of her books to audible. Love her...and her story are great!! Can't wait to see more!

I would recommend this book to a lot of people because it kept me interested from the beginning to end. It is hard to get reactions out of me, and this book did just that.

While this story was easy to listen to I wasn't really drawn into the characters. I was rooting for Luscious to come out victorious but I wanted it to be because she built a solid life for herself and proved Make$ and Goldie couldn't keep her down. I loved that she built a business with her cousin and Michel but I wish more would have been put into their business and making it successful than on Luscious making one bad decision after another. The story could have been just as strong without the childhood drama. She brought on a lot of her own drama by her actions and the police detective was overkill to me.
