"Fabulous writing AND narration ~ Loved every story"
Yes I WILL listen to it again! Every story was compelling ~ they ranged from really good, to GREAT. I couldn't stop listening, and some of the stories were shorts from favorite series like the Bullet Catchers & Lucy Kincaid, and some were new to me like Mercy Gundersen (which I've bought now)...and some were from authors I'd never heard of, and some from authors I'd have never tried. But I enjoyed every single story!
Like I said above, some of the shorts are form series, so of course you could compare them to those ~ there was a Mercy Street from Mariah Stewart, Roxanne St. Claire's Bullet Catchers, Allison Brennan's Lucy Kincaid series...so many I recognized and I'm sure many others didn't.
They adapted to each and EVERY story...they BECAME the characters. I never thought I'd listen to Daniel Silva or a Dale Brown, but I think I will just because I enjoyed Christopher Lane's narration THAT much. I wish Shannon McManus had more! I hope she continues to narrate, I enjoyed her very much!
The story of the Xerox machine. And right this second I couldn't tell you who it was by ~ as much as I loved some of those story, this story was a twist of fate, be careful what you wish for story, and just tugged on my heart.
I loved Sandra Brown's comments before each story ~ they totally added to the overall effect of the book. I'm just floored how much I enjoyed this! I have the book, too, can't wait to start paging through and rereading stories I loved!
