Publisher's Summary

WEREWOLVES - Dr. Crispin has engineered the saviors of mankind: Pavlov’s Dogs, a team of soldiers capable of transforming into fearsome beasts. But when Crispin and his team welcome a new talented neurotechnician to the island, Dr. Crispin quickly realizes his masterwork has fallen into the hands of a man he does not trust.

ZOMBIES - Back on the mainland, Ken Bishop and his best friend, Jorge, get caught in a traffic jam on their way home from work. There’s a wreck up ahead. And something worse: the first sign of a major outbreak - and Ken and Jorge are stuck in the gridlock. Not only do they need to escape, but they also need to save as many people as possible on the way.

ARMAGEDDON - Now Dr. Crispin and his team must make a terrible decision. Should they send the Dogs out into the zombie apocalypse to rescue survivors? Or should they listen to the new neurotechnician, who would have them hoard their resources and post the Dogs as island guards?

    "cookie cutter at best"
Would you try another book from Thom Brannan and D. L. Snell and/or Jonathan Davis?

Not if they are like this book. It was like the authors asked eachother " what is the easiest, quickest and most boring way we can get werewolves and zombies together. It could have been a good story, it just needed another 200 pages to explain everything. Never explained how the werewolf project started or what they actually looked like when then transformed. One part it seems like they are on 2 feet and massive, then it seems like they are just large size dogs. Never said what it was that really made one an alpha, no details just said alpha doesnt need shots and the others do. The whole zombie part of the story didnt even need to take place. should have been left out.
The narrator was fine. he was able to make changes in the characters voices and express their feelings.

Would you ever listen to anything by Thom Brannan and D. L. Snell again?

Not if they are like this story. see above comment.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Nothing. I think the narrator did a fine job, especially considering what he was narrating.

What character would you cut from Pavlov’s Dogs?

The zombies. Could have had a better book or made 2 books if you separated the zombies and the werewolves.
