"Functional and fun"
It's an excellent selection of idioms that can come in handy for non-native speakers of English. The situations didn't feel far-fetched. Learners of American English can use these examples of conversational English in a wide range of different contexts.
The set can be used for self-study purposes or in the classroom.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?Yes. Because it is a very good way to make use of our time, while we drive, commute on train, etc.
Would you recommend Easy American Idioms to your friends? Why or why not?Yes, especially to advanced learners. I think this is better than any other domestic (Japanese) materials.
