you can compare them to stern, but the comparison ends quickly thereafter. howard's on his way down and these guys are just hitting their stride. instead of being centered around just one person (one person whose show seems now to only consist of whining a lot about how everyone stole everything from him), it's a freeflow exchange of ideas and the topics change rapidly. yes, it can be gross and it CAN be cruel occasionally, but there's no doubt it's a damn funny show too. add in a strange cast of peripheral characters, assaults on the media, homeless shopping sprees, cringe-inducing interviews (like when opie welcomed cindy williams to "has-been corner" - painful) and funny, funny comedians. you'll be amazed how fast 4 hours goes by.

I have XM Satellite radio and can listen to O&A any time. I can't listen to the radio at work, so I end up missing bits and pieces of the show, and sometimes get too busy and miss a few days. By Audible podcasting the show I never have to miss a second of the show again. Nothing beats Opie and Anthony on my iPOD. Thanks Audible.

Finally a show that let comedians shine. Opie & Anthony of XM are not intimidated of their guest talents, and lets them become part of the show.
Where else can you listen to 4 plus comedians go on a rant. If you were like me when I listened to Stern, all I kept screaming to my radio was "SHUT UP ABOUT THE F.C.C. AND SAY SOMETHING FUNNY.". But that was rarely fulfilled by Stern. With Opie and Anthony you are getting a fresh entertaining show everyday, and they are something Stern isn't anymore, RELEVANT. If you love comedy, you have to give Opie and Anthony a try, and I guarantee you will never change the channel.

The term "shock jocks" is something that makes O&A shudder. Yes, they do some shocking radio from time to time, but they have much more to offer than that. They are more like a group of friends with really good sense of humor. You will never hear that "DJ Voice" from them. They speak in their natural voices and listening to their show makes you feel like your hanging out with some really funny friends. Even though they are free to curse as much as they like on XM radio, they don't abuse it at all. All and all it is a very funny show and as long as your not uptight, you will enjoy it.

If you have never listened to O&A, please take the time and find out for yourself what has Howard Stern all worried. These two, along with various guests are what radio is all about. They may do some cursing, but the majority of the show is just like sitting around a garage with a few beers and some friends talking about the events that happen every day in our lifes. From catching mice around the house, to different opinions on dating, there is never a dull moment with these two.

If your looking for brilliant radio personalities, these are the guys to get. From Ant's "Imus" impersonations to Lil Jimmy Norton's friend "Liddy" this trio will keep you laughing from the moment the intro music ends. Truly my favorite show be it TV Radio ect. these guys are the Best in entertainment. % stars cuz it's all I could give. WOW

I will not review this content. Instead I will inform you why you will enjoy the Opie and Anthony Show. To put it simply, it is entertainment. So, why choose to be entertained by these two people? They are a new breed of talk show that does not assume the audience to be dazzled by gimmicks. They also assume that you will not be offended by toilet humor. This is not what their show is about, however, it is a nice departure from sensationalism. You will walk away being informed of todays news. You will have stuff to talk about with your friends that will captivate them. New ideas that can stimulate conversation will start to roll off your tongue. The marriage of talk radio and Audible content has never been more profound. This is a new breed of entertainment. This, my friend, is Audible.

O&A is pure entertainment. If you want to listen to dumb stripers - knock yourself out and listen to boring Hoo Hoo Howard Stern... (there are no "holes" on O&A) But if you want to enjoy a show that's interesting, witty, and funny then O&A is the answer. Anthony does incredible impressions, Norton is really funny, and Opie keeps it all focused. One word of caution - the show is not for prudes, nor people who would sacrifice their values for political correctness. The commentary can be brutally honest at times.

If you don't have the privlage of having an XM radio in your car, you're in luck. Since I've gotten XM I've gradually listened to Opie and Anthony more and more, to where now I never change the channel from them. They are the best radio duo by far. And Jim Norton, the third guy on the show, is the funniest person you'll ever hear. Do yourself a favor and give them a try, it will be the smartest thing you'll ever do. :::::WARNING::::: You'll laugh so hard you may soil yourself.

Hey if you don't have XM then pay the 70 bucks to enjoy great humor. The only way to describe this show is great humor---with a twist. If you have XM, enjoy O and A anytime you want. Have fun and enjoy, Punching out!
