"gripping story of the workings of the US Senate"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?gives the most exhaustive treatment to both the career of Lyndon Johnson, the workings of the senate and the ascendancy of the united states in the striving for equality

Any additional comments?it is a shame that this book has to be sold in three seperate volumes by audible. it is an exhaustive and very long book, which is understandable but Audible should come up with packaging it more econimically

"Hey, hey LBJ, how many kids have you killed today?"
Love him or hate him these masterful volumes explain him. Wanting the "Great Society", for his sins he was given the Vietnam War.

50yrs old / audible member for 5 yrs library. 75% nonfiction, 15% classics and 10% fiction. History/Science/biography/Eng.18th cent fiction

"One of the best books ever written"
This is one of those books that they have split in 2 so they can get twice the credits for it. Not a smart trend, not smart at all. If they keep this up Ill save the $460 a year I spend here and just get them from the frigin library.
