"The best well-rounded book I've read in years!"
What did you love best about Dinner for God?The story is so interesting it was HARD to pause from listening! It includes humor, interesting character development (I grew to love and become "friends" with certain characters!), and a spiritual angle that prompted self-reflection. The story magically portrays how all of our lives CAN be!
What did you like best about this story?The message to "be present" in the moment, to enjoy experiences and items that come into our lives without holding ourselves back or "saving them for a special occasion". This book helped me to focus more on the joy of the present, the joy of myself and friends, and to consider spiritual aspects surrounding us. I found the message to be timely, soulful, and informative in a fun way. It's the best book I've read or listened to in some time!
Which character – as performed by Rayme Scarioni – was your favorite?Aunt Maddie by far! I want to be like her when I age!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?Oh definitely. One work night I was up until past 1:00 a.m. because one chapter would lead me to another and I couldn't stop because I wanted to know what happened!
Any additional comments?I'm recommending this book to everyone I know. The friends who have read the printed version say the same as me, they love it and can't put it down! Thank you to the author! Is there a sequel coming out?
