Scarlett O'Brien, utterly addicted to romantic films, has found her leading man. She's convinced Sean is Mr Right, but the day-to-day reality of a relationship isn't quite like the movies. With Sean constantly away on business, Scarlett and her new best friend, Oscar, decide to head to New York for the holiday of a lifetime. From one famous landmark to the next, Scarlett and Oscar make many new friends during their adventure - including sailors in town for Fleet Week, a famous film star, and Jamie & Max, a TV reporter and cameraman. Scarlett finds herself strangely drawn to Jamie; they appear to have much in common: a love of films and Jamie's search for a parent he never knew. But Scarlett has to ask herself why she is reacting like this to another man when she's so in love with Sean….

"A REAL FUN BOOK TO LISTEN TO"
I had so much enjoyment and fun with this book. I found myself eager to catch up on the next installment each morning.
It was so funny in places and took me on a tour of NYC with surprises around many corners.
English Scarlett's best friend is "out there" Oscar, Sean the boring boyfriend back in the UK, and Jamie is the handsome new "friend" - yes its quite typical chick-lit but it does have some great twists and turns.
With all the various movie and TV references, movie stars, NY landmarks and shops, you feel very familiar with the book.
Cant say much more - dont want to even hint on the big twist but I highly recommend this story, especially if you are planning a trip to NY.
"Worth the credit"
The colourful descriptions of New York City thruout the book you felt you were there.
The many different twists, at first I was not sure about this book but once Scarlett and Oscar arrived in NYC I did not want it to end.
The last scene the treasure hunt.
This was a good easy listen nothing too deep but I really enjoyed it. Real chick lit, if this is the genre you enjoy this is for you.
