In one cataclysmic moment, millions around the globe disappear during "the rapture". Those left behind are destined to face war, famine, plagues, and natural disasters so devastating that only one in four people will survive. Odds are even worse for enemies of the Antichrist and his new world order. Rayford Steele, Buck Williams, Bruce Barnes, and Chloe Steele band together to form the Tribulation Force. Their task is clear, and their goal is nothing less than to stand and fight the enemies of God during the seven most chaotic years the planet will ever see.

"Great Read/Listen!"
Enjoyed immensley, a must for any Non Christian to listen to, so they will understand and realize they need to be prepared for the Rapture and Eternity!
"Great book bad narrator"
I would only recommend the one read by Richard Ferrone. NOT JACK SONDERRICKER.
The story, It is straight from Revalations.
Anybody. Some of the Jewish accents he does you cant even understand what he is saying.
The one read by Richard Ferrone yes.
If you search the name of the book there are 3 that come up. A dramatized one, Sonderricker and then Ferrone. Purchase Ferrone.
I am a Christian wife and mother. I write two blogs. My somewhat theological blog is called "Just Another Clay Pot," and my Fiction/Poetry blog is called "Weightiness and Whimsy."
"Good story, terrible audio"
This review covers "Left Behind" and "Tribulation Force" as narrated by Jack Sondericker.
I am so disappointed with the audio quality of this recording. It sounds like it was recorded straight off of a cassette which had been wound tightly for a long time. The audio is full of echoes and pre-echoes from where the cassette tape had experienced bleed-through. If you listen through earphones as I do, it's extremely distracting.
Additionally, there is a ton of background noise. Furious pencil-scratching sounds, bangs and clanks...and I'm almost certain I heard a toilet flush at one point.
All of that I could have tolerated, and in fact DID tolerate through Left Behind and much of Tribulation Force.
But then Rabbi Ben-Zion became a major figure, and his badly-done "Hebrew accent" is more than I can stand. If I were Jewish, I'd be insulted. It's one thing to be unable to master an accent, but it's another to make it sound as if the person is channeling a mixture of Donald Duck and Ludwig Von Drake.
I will be returning this series for a refund, but since I love the story itself, I will try again with a different narrator.
"No Words"
I could listen to this over and over and never get tired of the series. I love them all so far. Thank you!
"Bad Audio and background noise"
No. The audio quality is almost distracting. Pages turning and it sounds like writing, erasing or sanding in background.
Todays world affairs story and biblical reference
Bad audio. The first 2 books have the same problems. ant to keep listening. If the buying the next book is this poor of quality I will probably pass on buying the rest of the series.
"captivating"
The balance of relationships and rising action is great. It makes you want to go straight into the next book.
Anything written by Frank Peretti.

"Love this series"
This is a great series. It really makes you think when you look at today's headlines. I prefer the ones narrated by Jack Sondericker. Audible has his and also by another narrator. Be sure to listen to a sample before you buy, or take my word for it!
"A must read"
I actually have this whole series in hard cover, and have read them all more then once. When I saw them here I was happy to be able to listen to these stories again. These are fiction, but if you are a christian or know any thing about the scrpture, especially the book of Revalation, this series will send shivers down your spine.
"Great book terrible narration"
The story as a whole is very good.
I wasn't able to make it through the reading. The smacking sounds from the narrator quite frankly disgusted me. I will probably just pick up a hard copy though.
Sounded to me like he was eating a boiled egg throughout the reading... I cannot believe this wasn't picked up in sound editing and either they work with him to resolve or found another narrator.
