    "Perfect rendition"

    This is a delightful collection of Rumpole stories. Tony Britton is a perfect narrator for this. He has a gently sardonic attitude and a rich voice. If you like Rumpole, this is a must-listen.

    "This is a must have"

    This is one of the very best audiobooks I have ever bought. I loved Leo McKern as the irascible, quintessential Rumpole and thought no-one could ever come close. I was mistaken. This narrator was superb. I would highly recommend this book to anyone.

    "Biased review by a Rumpole fan"

    The reader did just fine, and I found everything I wanted in this reading. There was nothing distracting, the audio was fine, and the writing was funny and entertaining. I'd highly recommend it to anybody who appreciates John Mortimer.
