I absolutely love my audible account, makes its from enjoying a book to loving the stories found in the books. Do forgive my errors in the reviews i do have dyslexia but i will share my love with everyone
"amazing"
Being able to close your eyes, use your imagination and let your mind create all the special effects is amazing.
How the shadow is able to outsmart everyone is amazing, but you know in the end he will live
"Shadow without Orson Welles"
They were good, but I definitely like The Shadow much more with Orson Welles doing the part.
"back in time"
the authenic voices with the greate narration
none at the moment
excellent
no
i enjoyed even the comercial that came in with the Shadow.....It took me to a time, where there were no tv just the radio shows.....it made my imagination soar.......
"Fun for historical context, but very dated"
The plot and character development are at the level of Scooby Doo and Inspector Gadget; there are many better-written modern stories out there. However, you can feel the innocence of the age in the writing (which comes with a solid dose of that age's sexism, unfortunately). What my wife and I found almost as interesting as the stories was that these recordings include the original radio advertisements, which is fascinating for anyone interested in media culture.
"Memories"
Not as good as I remember. It may have worked in days of radio but it does not work now. Do a prieview before you buy.
