Tell us about yourself!I have been reading constantly threw audio books sense a verry small age and have never lost the love of them.
"Love the sweet bite of this book!"
This book was better than i expected and better than reviewed. The narration is amazing and really brings everyone in to real life. i love the way the charactor grows but never leaves her tude and sass behind. it has just enough romance without being to insane for tween readers. i love the wit here and i love the inner strength that the head charactor finds in herself. this is a fun new way to look at the supernatural. also the "'s at the beggining of each chapter are a lol! just try it!
"Interesting premise, disappointing execution."
I wouldn't recommend this book. It ended up being pretty disappointing even though it sounded like an interesting idea.
The main character seemed very immature for her age, and kept using all kinds of slang that was distracting and got to be very annoying as the story kept going.
My favorite scene would have to be when Molly first uses her powers. The author did a very good job creating a picture of what was happening.
Considering the book ended on a cliffhanger, it probably could use a follow up, but I don't think I'll be reading it.
I bought this book when I got Warm Bodies, and actually enjoyed that a lot more than I originally expected to. Save yourself the time and money/credits and get that one instead.
"Zombies and Egyption Mythology"
It was a fun listen. There is a lot of teenage slang, so much that it almost seems like the author is trying too hard- but I found that more entertaining than annoying.
When Molly first meets Annubis.
I don't think I have listened to any of her other performances, but I liked her. I would be willing to listen to her again.
When Molly is mature enough to admit that she made a mistake, and faces the consequences.
I thought this book was a really fun listen! I loved all of the Egyptian mythology and I thought it was a really unique twist on zombies. Sometimes the author tried too hard with all of the teenage slang, but the main character is a 16 year old girl. I found it more amusing than annoying. I liked Molly and didn't find her to be immature. I tend to think that most YA heroines are a little too mature for their age. Molly is no Katniss or Tris, but she is very like able. I am excited for the next in the series.
