Where does The Dark Tower III: The Waste Lands rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?Very High, dark tower series started me off on Audio books & the late Frank Muller is my favourite narrator.
Who was your favorite character and why?Roland, tough gunslinger character, very similar to David Gemmells Jerusalem man (aka Jon Shannow). Read superbly by Muller. Even Stephen King said he would listen to Mullers reading to get in the atmosphere to write the next dark tower novel.
Have you listened to any of Frank Muller’s other performances before? How does this one compare?I've listened to many of his performances and all are good, but in my opinion this is his best.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?I just love the world and characters he has created, so strange & disturbing. Have read and listened to the whole series, and without a doubt prefer listening because Muller takes you right into the world with his powerful performance.

"Wanted to Stop but Could Not"
Frank Muller seemed to take perverse pleasure in extending each horrific second and left me breathless. Fabulous, thoughtful narration.
The characters are more 3 dimensional with each becoming more aware of their roll in the quest. This book in the series is a page turner with plots and scenarios evolving and a cliffhanger ending.0 of 0 people found this review helpful
