"Wonderful Sequel!"
Yes. There were so many hidden treasures in this read that I missed the first time around.
I LOVED Murder in this book. He had such a tender side towards Mi Amor and her sister.
I don't want to give away the story, but I loved the action in this book. There was so much happening in the lives of all of the characters. I loved how they bring all of the individual events together and you get to see each characters perspective.
Carter definately. His character is so sexy. That is if you like bosses!
"Very Different"
This was such a surprise in a story. To tell an entire story and all it was, was a dream of a woman who was about to be killed. I loved it a very good plot twist
The whole story, thinking this person was dead and wasn't.
I liked how the story was read, it kept me on my toes, once the story was over I could not wait for the next one.
Yes I did. Both I was like oh my God.... and for it all to be a dream just turned me around to dammit, now I still got to find out what happen, but it also gave me that dam that was a good plot, they really had me going.
Just keep writing them, I even went all the way to the Cartel 4, now waiting on 5. This needs to be a movie or a short mini series or something. I truly like these audio books and cannot wait to get another. Also some of the authors older books like the murda mama's need to be on audio books.
Atlanta artist and single work from home mom of 1. I love all things creative including art, writing, and music.
"Oh MY GOD! WOW"
I have not experienced the text version (I so don't have time in my schedule right now for actually sitting with a book in hand) but this was phenomenal!
The twists and turns, the truth of it, the way I could relate to it was amazing. I no devil or angel but I have been through things in my life and come from places that made this book so believable for me.
He was awesome, he is consistent in the way he portrays the characters and although having a variation of narrators is cool he is a great voice over actor.
I would call it, It Was All a Dream after a Biggie song lyric LOL
This book had me about to cry so many times it's crazy, I gasped like I was actually watching a movie, and I cannot wait to buy the next book, or 2 LOL.
"This is a GREAT Trilogy"
The Cartel trilogy is a must read. I recommended it to all of my friends and family.
A mom, wife and a book reader..
"WOW OH WOW OH WOW"
The book had me on an emotional rollercoaster, one minute i'm mad, then i'm crying or laughing. This book is a great read.
The ending is what got me.
He is WONDERFUL!!!
Carter, I like Zyir and Breeze as a couple
This book is a must read for bool lovers.
"It get's even better.."
Look out for the twist.....
The twist at the end....
He cleverly takes the character of each cast member... well read.
I wish...
Can't wait for Cartel 4
"Feel Kind of Cheated..."
The book was great until the end... I felt like I wasted hours of my life that I will never get back... Debating whether I should purchase #3 or not...
"The Cartel 2"
At the end of The Cartel 1 Mia's life was left hanging, so this book was a must read for me and I was not disappointed. The storyline was like a ticking time-bomb that kept me on the edge of my seat. Another magnificent read. Many scenes had me jumping out of my seat but I couldn't put this book down. The answer on my mind now is will Carter find out who killed Mia Mama? Or will finding out that she was the hitwoman contracted to take him down shatter his heart? Or maybe tracking down her killer will give him some type of peace and revenge? The Cartel 3...here I come...cop your copy :-)
LIFE just happens that way sometimes!
"Reality of the Mind"
Hearing the story about the Murder Mama's and how they came about was very interesting listen. The thing I liked the most was how the author portrayed Miamor and how the challenge in her childhood turned her into the murder that she became.
If you have ever held a gun in the face of danger then you know the thought process that occurs before pulling a trigger, either shoot or be shot. Most people would hesitate before just shooting but sometime that last thought is the difference between life and death. The scene that I remember the most was the situation where Miamor almost died at the hands of one of her targets.
My favorite character in the book was Murder and how he loved two women that happened to be sisters but because of his loyalty to Anissa he didn't give into his minds urges. The major theme in this book to me was LOYALTY and that's what makes the book a great one because it shows so many different approaches to the theme by the characters (either they were loyal or disloyal), it also shows that you can't underestimate people and also helps the readers realize people are never who they portray to be. The true reality of the book is what blows me away and left me speechless that's why I gave it 3 stars. You won't believe this one.
